Believe the hype! First of all, they are only closed for 90 minutes a day, so shame on you if you miss it! ???? We started with... the onion rings--spectacular! The shrimp and grits are the real deal. The spaghetti had PLENTY of sauce for the noodles, and thewings with French toast were a delightful coupling. Of course, I added hash browns All The Way, which were soooo satisfying. Ourserver was amazing and kept the coffee pouring. We went out of our way to try this spot and it was all on point! Read more
Friendly service with delicious coffee! The Vegetable Egg White Omelette was very good. My husband had a burger which he liked... it very much. The fries were under cooked. We like the atmosphere and will go back when visiting Charlotte. Read more
Visiting from Kansas City and this is the BEST place we ate hands down!! The staff went out of their way to seat our party of... 9, food was relatively quick and DELICIOUS!! I will admit I was skeptical when I saw the building.....but I saw a line of peoplewaiting to get in.....and I see why!! VERY reasonable pricing.....and did I mention the food was AWESOME!! Read more
This place is so awesome. We walked from the Nascar museum and realized we should?ve drove when we saw the big parking lot! Ha!... Their menu is super expansive and the staff was really really sweet. Our waitress talked with a southern giggle and we lovedher. I got the shrimp and grits and I can?t tell you how many people I showed that photo too. I can still smell it. Spicy andsweet. The grits were so damn creamy. And that bread roll was to die for. One little roll, I?ll never forget. We reallyappreciated the creativity of this place and the super attentive staff. The place was super crowded and the bathrooms werealmost unusable because of that probably lol but.. I definitely recommend stopping in here to get your fix. I was starving at midnight and literally I found this place with awesome vibe, the wait time wasn't to long just 5m, they have... QR menu and was super easy to read and order, the waitress was awesome and funny, I loved the services. In regards of the food Iordered shrimp and fish also chicken wrap and both of them tested absolutely delicious and were big portions. I do recommendthe place! Read more
My wife and I love diners. Moving to Charlotte we wanted to try the Midnight Diner uptown. We split some cheeseburger sliders... before we went to the Mint museum and they were great. They were diner style, freshly made burgers with fresh French fries andour server Dave was awesome. He let us relax, didn?t hover and was charismatic and cool. Thanks Dave! The only caveat was thebathroom which I didn?t enter until the end was really dirty. I am glad I didn?t enter it until after I ate because I don?tthink I would?ve eaten there with the bathroom that unclean. However, I believe because it?s the end of year that maybe it?sbeen busy and hopefully that will be fixed. So, want a diner feel without it being Waffle House? Go to midnight diner. Theyserve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. Just make sure you check the restroom to make sure it?s clean for piece of mind. Read more
Not worth the wait! I decided to visit after a long night out, after a suggestion of my valet driver, I decided to do take... out. After 10 minute wait to order I was shortly accused of cutting the line however the person in front and behind me bothindicated that was not the case. This really upset me. The server didn't even see the line, felt borderline discriminatory. Icontinued to wait. I ordered a burger fries etc. I was told that wasn't enough ( not sure why someone was telling me how much Ican eat). The wait was 10 minutes which was good. The burger looked delicious and came with a huge load of fries. They lookedamazing. The burger was good, seemed to lack seasoning however the fries made the combo mouth watering. The cashier was kind tome and I gave her a tip. The take out package was lacking ketchup, mustard, etc utensils and napkins. Read more
