The Best African Food in the Carolinas! We've eaten here on several occasions: being in the area, hungry, just because we took a... breath! Uhm! One thing about them is they are consistent!!!!! So many places have fallen off since covid & they some howmastered it! Everything We've tried we liked it! Read more

As soon as I saw this place from the outside, I knew the food was going to be legit. It's take-out ONLY but that parking lot... stays BUSY. We had Waakye and Red Red with chicken, and we ate on those plantains all the way back home to Virginia. Some of themost wonderful spicy food I've had in my life. I want to say a special Thank You for the employees who chatted with us andhelped educate us on these dishes, as well as coming out to let us know everything was ready. We'll be back, and this time we'llcall the fufu in nice and early! Read more

Delicious! The plantain was tender and sweet but not too sweet. They were generous with the beans. Will definitely revisit when... I'm in Charlotte but this time I'll be prepared because there's NO dine in. On Google it says there's dine in, but that'sinaccurate. When you get to the door, there's no dine in and there's clear instructions on how to pre-order your food. Read more

My first time trying African food was here in North Carolina. I got the fufu and okra soup. It was spicy, but delicious! The... young lady that was working the counter, needs training on customer service. The guy had to keep coming from the back( which iwas told is the owners son) was super sweet and polite. But the girl, I was ready to jump behind the counter and tell her to getout and let me do it. She doesn't greet anyone when they walk in, and she kept rolling her eyes whenever the people in the backwas talking to her. Definitely want to try other foods from them, but I will definitely request for someone else to serve me. Read more
