I wanted to love this restaurant, but I left feeling under impressed. The portions were tiny, and some of our entrees could have... been cooked better. While the wagyu was tasty, I’ve had regular steaks that were better. However, the service was awesome -our waitress was incredibly sweet and helpful. Additionally, the cocktails were very well made. Biscuit was fantastic. Slightly crunchy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. The sausage gravy was some of the... best I've had in a long time, it didn't need any salt or pepper. My coffee came in a tiny French press with a timer so that Iknew when it was ready. It was adorable and tasty, although it could've been a little warmer. The drinks were complex anddelicious. We went here for cocktails and appetizers. The layout and decor is really thoughtful as it gives a feeling of classy yet... cozy. I ended up getting the Wagyu as an appetizer, which was perfect. I booked a reservation for 3 for a Sunday afternoon brunch. Although there is a pay lot directly across the street, we were all... able to find free street parking. Upon arrival, we were able to secure a spot on the patio rooftop. Our server was fantasticand checked on us frequently throughout our stay. The food was good. The food is more small plate format so not large portions.I ordered the shrimp and grits as they were able to make it without the pork. A friend ordered the potatoes which lookedyummy!
