Catching up on reviews. I used Uber Eats for dinner on Tuesday, 08-16-22. I wanted to try a new spot. I ordered brussel sprouts,... the kids shrimp with cheese grits, and banana pudding. The brussel sprouts were probably the best from my order. The grits &shrimp were decent. It was supposed to be jalapeño cheddar cornbread. There really wasn't a taste of cheddar & not a lot ofheat from the jalapeño. The banana pudding was my least favorite. Didn't care for the consistency. After having a long workday, I didn't want to cook. This order overall made me regret not going to my kitchen. It wasn't terrible but definitely justok. Read more
I sat outside on the patio for brunch, had the Bloody Mary and chicken biscuit with some hash brown casserole. Charlie was our... server, she was amazing! I’ve been in the service industry for almost 15 years, she did a great job. Super friendly, and superattentive. This place is awesome. I highly recommend, and ask for Charlie! Read more
Charlie (not sure of spelling) was an awesome server! She was really friendly, took our complicated order without complaint, and... delivered the food exactly as we ordered it. We ordered the chicken & waffles (extra crispy waffle, peach on the side), thebreakfast burrito with sweet potato tots, and the chicken biscuit with hash brown casserole. Chicken & waffles - the waffle hadzero flavor, just tasted like bread (definitely not a Belgium waffle), the peaches were warm and sweet, the chicken had greatflavor and a great crisp. I also ordered the eggs scrambled. The burrito was large and filling- the chicken was flavorful butthe burrito itself didn’t have a ton of flavor and the sweet potato tots were coated in sugar so they were very sweet. Came here with my family on Sunday. Terrible service. Overall the management didn’t care. Food took a very long time to come... out. Tables that came after us had ate and left. We expressed how long it had been. Our drinks were watered down and we weretold we were waiting on the omelet. Which was the fastest thing to make from the order. Women came over to our table said we gota little discount and walked away. She was behind the bar laughing at another customers complaint to another customer sitting atthe bar. Super unprofessional. Just overall rude. I forgot to mention my silverware was also dirty. Read more
Great breakfast here. Went on a weekend morning before it got to busy. Was able to sit outside and service was great. Waitress... was quick with getting drinks and food ordered and out to us. Food is very filling, we initially ordered a side thinking wewould be hungry but once we saw the food come out we could hardly finish it. Everything was cooked great and warm. Woulddefinitely recommend stopping by for breakfast/brunch if in the area. Read more
Bad Customer Service! Did not see this from the start but I see it in my photo. I was not surprised of the extra food within my... food-it happens. I ended up with a macaroni in my shrimp and grits. What upset me more was the waiters response. She laughed andshrugged her shoulders. Then kept staring and watching me after... All this after having to take shrimp shells out of mouth. Needless to say, I did not want to leave a tip for her, however, I was forced to because it was already included in. 20% of my$60+ order. I was furious! Again, accidents happen, it's how you respond that makes the difference. Get it together! I wouldpost her picture, but I didn't want to be too cruel. She knows who she is. Today was my first time going to this restaurant (and probably my last). Our party of two was seated and that was about as far... as we got. The restaurant was not extremely busy and there were multiple waiters/waitresses moving around. We sat and waited..multiple people walked passed us without speaking. One waiter went to the hostess and it looked as if they were discussingtables.. still, no one came to us. The couple that came in behind us got drinks and order was being taken. A table was seatedbeside us, a good bit after we had gotten there with drinks being order. Two of the waiters were just a table away from us byone of the order stations even had enough time to “play fight” and were joking/playing around. At that point with absolutelyno acknowledgement, we decided to leave. The hostess, that was at her stand on her phone, said “have a good day..” looked upas she said that and said, “Ohh… no one came over to you?” NOPE! And we continued out the door. I am a patient person andunderstand unfortunately covid has been an excuse for a long time but this in unacceptable! Customer service is huge and Irefuse to accept what happened today. No excuses.. and that left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. No plans to return. Read more
