My 2nd experience eating African good and it was better this time. They were out of a few things for some of the dishes on the... menu but the atmosphere was very laid back and the live DJ was on them 1's and 2's with them Afro beats. I loved drinks and thebar tender was making them drinks the way I like them!!! Overall I would recothis place to others and will be back to Charlotteto visit again. Read more

First time visiting today and we had a great experience we ordered Ghana jollof rice with stewed goat, plantains and a side... cabbage. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Food took a while to come out and one side was $8 which was pricey. But we didenjoy the food and we will return. Read more

Worst Restaurant. We literally have to use hot sauce to eat their food that’s how bad it was. When they started they use to be... good but now they are trash. Don’t waste your money here it’s better you go eat McDonald’s than this at least McDonald’swon’t have you wait for over an hour to have your food served. They reduce the quality in the food. Now they are cuttingcorners. Hear my advise and don’t eat there. The food is tasteless Read more

Great service and great vibe. We had the fried red snapper, Jollof rice, stew chicken, cabbage and barbecue chicken wing... appetizer. My husband was not a fan of the stew chicken but they switched it out for him timely. It was flavorful but a bit. Wealso tried a couple of their signature cocktails and both were great. One of them was the the sunrise made with white rum. Itwas very refreshing. Our server, Mari was very pleasant and attentive. The food came out very hot and fresh. She answered all ofour questions about the menu and helped us pick the perfect cocktails. We will definitely return to try other menu items. Read more

Especially excellent food near CTL Charlotte NC airport. The food was tasty and flavorful and the menu was well written so I... could avoid spicy food and hubby to get spicy food. He had jerk chicken and I had salmon with the non spicy rub. We both had theflavorful but not spicy Jollof rice. He had plantains (and shares ??) and I had cabbage. Just delightful after a long flight.Service was quick and friendly. Fun African music in the background (not too loud, just enough to set the mood). Don't miss! Read more
