This is late. I'm playing catch up on reviews. I stopped by on Sat, 3-19-22. Was out running errands & knew I wasn't cooking. I... ordered the shrimp platter with sausage, eggs, potato, & corn. I added the banana pudding. They put the banana pudding in thesame bag as my entrée. Once I noticed in the car, I took the pudding out. Wouldn't get the pudding again. Wasn't terrible; justnot as good as mine. The platter didn't disappoint. Was filling & I couldn't eat it all at once. I did a take out order. Theywere pretty busy, but they kept the line moving. My flight was delayed in Charlotte so I stayed at the Double Tree. Thus wonderful black owned business was 2-3 minutes walk... away. I love seafood boils and I got the crab and shrimp lunch platter with the Cajun and honey garlic sauce. OMG? It wasdelicious!!! The best part about this place is the customer service. From the initial greeting, to making sure your ordering exactly what you... want and checking on you after your seated. Unfortunately, my food was not hot or warm. I think they let my food sit while myfriends fried food was cooking. My food didn't even have a bit of seasoning in sight and when I made a remark about it, thewaitress said its mixed into the sauce lol. No mam, I'll need more seasonings because I can already tell from the looks it'sbland. I also didn't care for the amount of lemon being added to the butter sauce. This place is amazing! First the customer service was great. I advised to the woman who was taking my order that this was first... time there and she was very nice explaining how things worked there. I ended up getting the Shrimp and Crab boil lunch special.She recommended the garlic parmesan sauce which was delicious! My food was well season and hot. I enjoyed every bite! Great find in Charlotte! After getting stuck in Charlotte due to delayed flights, we were put up in the Hyatt that happens to be... next door to this place. Recommended by two of the hotel?s employees we figured we?d give it a shot. The fish and chips wereawesome! Huge portions. Yummy sauces. And extremely friendly service! Not pictured are the passion fruit and mango margaritaswhich were a perfect compliment to our dinner.
