Overall, the food is very tasty. I got a chicken shawarma. I like the garlic sauce, pickles and fries. I wanted a side of... lebanese salad instead of French fries. Unfortunately, they wouldn't substitute (even for a charge). Instead, I had to buy afull salad. While the food was good, the meal is too expensive at $20 to eat on a frequent basis. If you are good with fries orno sides, then the price becomes a bit more reasonable. Read more
I was spoiled living in NY and before that Lebanon but after 15 years living in NC, my search is finally over for authentic and... great tasting shawarma. I?ve tested/tasted from coast to mountains of NC and nothing comes close to Kabab 2 go. You can?t gowrong with either beef/lamb or chicken as they are both equally great. I live in the triangle area and for sure will make thedrive for their sandwiches as it is well worth the time and gas. Read more
I felt so bad ordering 30 mins before they closed but I just got into town and was really craving some kabobs and fattoush... salad. I ordered the kabob platter with and an additional fattoush salad. The kabobs and veggies were delicious and the fattoushwas so authentic which is hard to find!!! I was soooo appreciative to be able to get such great food to go just before theyclosed. Burned my sandwich & plate too (I dropped my wife & kids to airport and when I came back, she already thrown her chicken tawook... plate. So I didn?t took pic). It was to go. So they decided to let it GO ???? Seller replied sandwich burn was not intentionalbut did chicken tawook plate was also not intentional? You can see chicken chunks while packing as they aren?t wrapped aroundpita. other than that I have never seen French fries in Shawarma Sandwich while visiting Saudia Arab, Dubai, and my hometownMichigan. 1st time to see French fries in Shawarma sandwich. Discovered this place literally 30 minutes before it closed and decided to see if they would let us in. I was expecting to be... greeted by apprehensive looks, but on the contrary, we received a warm welcome. Joe was very kind and friendly as he walked usthrough the menu. We ordered three platters: - Chicken tawook w/ tabouleh, hummus - Chicken shawarma w/ tabouleh, babaGhanoush - Lamb platter with moudjddarah and tabouleh We also got Arayess which was quickly devoured. The chicken tawook andlamb were our favorites. Great flavor without too much salt. The tabouleh was fresh, and the baba ghanoush and hummus weredelicious too. Pita is probably the best I?ve had so far. I drizzled some of their red spicy sauce all over my shawarma chickento give it a little kick. Decent sized portions and great meal overall! Absolutely amazing shawarma! Haven't had shawarma this good since I was in the middle east. Even the fries are delicious. Joe... was super nice and friendly. Highly recommend, even if you haven't tried Mediterranean, you will find a new love for food???????????? Read more
