Disappointing! Hair in the food and bad costumer service! I have wanted to try this place for a long time so we went there... tonight. I ordered the salmon bowl. When I sat down to eat and I found a piece of hair in my food. I was considerate and waitedin line to tell the girl at the register. She was visibly unhappy with my request for another bowl. She didn?t apologize, butinstead told me that they have to catch up on some To Go orders and she will do it as soon as possible. I had planned to buy thekids some ice cream and assuming that she will do it shortly I said ok. Another 15 minutes past and none of the two girls behindthe counter were working on my food. My husband went and ask when my bowl will be ready. The girl told him that she has moreorders before mine and can?t do it right now. We left the store and plan to never come back. This place was a gem! Not a lot of people know about it. The food quality was beyond expectations, everything was top notch,... which is hard to find with raw fish. The owner was so sweet and kind and so helpful, extremely knowledgeable and even let ustaste sample the different sauces and gave us his recommendations. Give this place a try! You won?t regret it. I was excited to try this place as I love poke and it's hard to find fresh poke in Charlotte. I was sadly disappointed. My... friends meal was fine just over half it was rice instead of protein and toppings and not fresh. My meal was missing 3ingredients and I had asked for the sauce on the side. I asked for mango and pineapple but got pineapple with 2 mushy tinypieces of mango. My ahi tuna was also chewy. I unfortunately was already on the highway and couldn't turn back so I called toget a refund and was told there was nothing they could do. I unfortunately will not return. Read more

First time visit. The bowl was pretty good. At first it didn't seem like you get a lot for $14, but it all was pretty healthy... and I wasn't able to fish the entire bowl. The girl building my bowl helped me choose everything and was super nice and helpful.She even gave us a taste of the nondairy ice treats. Overall I'd say it's very good. Read more

Absolutely WOW. I got the white rice with spicy tuna. With all kinds of goodies on top. The staff helped me pick out ingredients... as this is my first time EVER making a poke bowl. Sooooooo good. My sister and I stopped by island fin today hoping for the best, but expecting average food. What a wonderful surprise we found... from the incredibly welcoming people explaining how to order to the food -WOW!
