I’m not one to generally post bad reviews, but we have been eating at Fuji fairly regularly for the past 7 years. I’m sad to... say that the food quality, chef presentation, and service have drastically declined over the past years to the point thattonight will be our last visit. Key moments for tonight: 1. Not a single word from the chef. 2. Waiter forgot to bring out mywife’s food from the kitchen until we were nearly done eating. 3. This did not stop the waiter from bringing out 3 Togo boxesfor 5 people + the check before our food was done cooking. 4. The entire point of the evening was to celebrate my daughters 12thbirthday. We mentioned this several times to the waiter, but she never got her song. That’s the main reason she wanted togo. 5. No ginger sauce served with the meal. The food was surprisingly bland. 6. When paying the bill, we noticed that a verysneaky 18% gratuity was tacked onto the check. I’m usually at least a 20% tipper, but don’t force me to pay without tellingme first. Needless to say I’m sorely disappointed. Even though the prices have gone up in the past year, the service hasgotten terrible. 2/10 Read more

We have been coming to Fuji's since they opened. We come in once a week. We absolutely love this place! The manager Maggie and... all the servers are like family to us! We know all of them by name. Food is always great and the servers are fantastic!Sometimes when it is busy you may have to wait on the weekends but it's worth it!! Read more

Adequate, I would eat here again. I had the Shrimp teriyaki dinner box, paid close to $18 for what paid for I was honestly... expecting less. But gratefully the food came with more than plenty including a salad and a cup full of soup. I love shrimp, Iwas hoping to see more but the amount will do anyways, 9/10 rating. Read more

We had a good experience here but if I had to judge it against the many experiences I’ve had in Japanese Steak houses I would... say it was average. The fried rice and noodles were over sauced for my taste. Maybe a bit disappointing. I gave it 4 starsbecause of the cook we had, we had a pleasant conversation. A real nice guy too. In their defense it was mothers day and theywere extremely busy. It could’ve thrown off the quality of the food. Read more

Food is good, but it is always slow. Last visit, we didnt go for a while, maybe a year plus. We ordered steak wrap on asparagus... that we like. Turn out to look super different and steak is a bit overcoked. In general, if you dont have a lot of time to hangaround..dont go eat there Read more

I wish the experience had been better. I called them as it was our first time going to this store and we didn't know how it... worked. The communication with the girl that answered was very difficult, she didn't understand what I asked and answered thingsI did not asked. Later on we went, didn't have to wait too long to be seated. Then the same thing happened with the waitress, acustomer next to us had to intervene to explain what the waitresses was not able to do. The food was good and the cook was niceand funny, although I wished we had seen more tricks, he only did a couple, unlike the other tables, where I saw from thedistance more tricks while cooking. The price is overall fair. Hoping to go back another day and have a better meal time. Read more

I enjoy this place every time I go visit NC. I love the sushi and hibachi. The service is pleasant however it get busy sometimes... and takes a while to get the food. Read more

The 3 stars are due to the fact that I have never had a bad experience at Fuji. The food is usually very good and cooked very... well. I eat here frequently, at least 3x’s a month and as mentioned, typically the food is phenomenal. However this afternoonI ordered my usual, Hibachi Chicken and Scallops, and when I got the food home everything was over cooked and they forgot to putthe rice in the bag. Very disappointing that a $26 meal would be over cooked. I will give them another shot because this is myfirst terrible experience. Update 1/1/2022 Fuji offered to replace the meal from my previous experience with the same dish atno additional charge. However the quality of food just is not the same sense I began visiting this restaurant. It was an awesomegesture of Paulina and management, however the quality of cooking isn’t up to par (see last 2 pictures for recent visit). Iwill be finding a new Japanese steakhouse. Read more
