Absolutely love this place; it has become a regular favorite for my friends and me. The menu is large and creative enough that... we never get tired of it. The service is fantastic, especially James - he is the man! A good value in a fun environment - one ofthe top breakfast slots in Charlotte. Read more

We ordered almost $300 catering order for an event. After picking up the order and getting to the event we were greeted with a... ton of sticky pancake SYRUP spilt all in the floor board of our vehicle!! Not to mention over the other catering order. Aftertrying to figure out what happened we noticed someone thought it was a great idea to put liquid syrup in an aluminum pan andwrap it in a little Saran Wrap as if that?s going to seal it in!?! However, they were smart enough to put the apple butter in asealed container. So instead of me getting to attend the event I got the pleasure of taking our car to get it detailed on theinside to get rid of the super sticky mess in our carpet. Giving the benefit of the doubt, we reached out to the restaurant andwe were told there is nothing they can do, other than give us a discount on a future order. Uh, hello! You think we want to comeback to your restaurant after they were careless with their packing causing a super sticky mess and offer poor customer servicefor their mistake? It cost time and money to get the interior cleaned. I can?t not recommend their catering due to this.Admittedly their food was good, but not worth the huge sticky mess, headache, and time. See pictures for detail? Edit: Changedfrom a 1 to 4 stars on 11/29/2022. The owner did reach out to pay a portion of the detail work. Hopefully moving forward theywill have a better spill-proof container for the syrup to prevent another issue. Read more

Just stopped in for brunch. It was about a 25 minute wait which was no problem-the hardware store was a great spot to wait it... out. James was our server-super attentive and friendly! He was quick and the food came was also served in a timely manner. Greatbrunch spot! Thanks James! Read more

Loved this place! We were in Charlotte for a few days and tried a different breakfast spot each morning. This was my fav! Food... and service was exceptional. I had the grits bowl (best grits i?ve had in a long time), and my wife had the breakfast tacos thatshe wouldn?t stop talking about. Very good portion sizes. Place looks small from the outside but once you are in, the place ispretty long. Read more

Shout out to Carolyn M. I sat at the bar she made my drinks and my experience above and beyond extravagant! I been in North... Carolina for almost a year and I've been searching for the unexpectedly elusive "Southern Biscuits and Gravy" I definitely foundit here! Grits are cheesy and delicious! I got a hot toddy with English breakfast. There's no better way to spend the morningthan at Flying Biscuit. I hope I get to come one more time before I go home ???? If for no other reason but to see Carolyn M.One more time! That woman is definitely one of God's gift to Earth! Read more

This wasn't our first intended place for brunch but everything happens for a reason as this location was still on my brunch... list. Very good choice and agree that it should be on the list for best brunch places. My food was good, the grits weredifferent from what im used to but they were great! My mimosa was good as well. Our server, Michael was nice and helpful too. Nocomplaints for my visit ???? Read more

I have been here multiple times and the food has been amazing consistently. But today something was wrong. The biscuit, on the... outside, was really hard like a crisp cookie. The omelette was really dry and a bit overcooked. The only good thing was thegrits. Grits was absolutely delicious. I don't know if something changed at this location or if it was just an unlucky day forus. I hope the old quality comes back soon! Read more

Love this place for brunch! Clean friendly service. They get busy make a reservation if possible. Their biscuits and their apple... butter spread are the best in town in my opinion. Their pancakes are pretty good too. Portions are big and prices aren'texpensive. Service can sometimes be a lilttle bit slow because they get sooo busy. My favorite is the biscuits and gravy youcan't go wrong. The breakfast potatoes are yummy too. Read more
