I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Emmy Squared. The pizza is absolutely incredible. After having raved about it to... my family when they were visiting from NY, I took them to try it out for themselves. My sister is gluten free so we ordered allof the pizza with gluten free dough. I was hesitant in doing so since the dough is the best part (a more airy Sicilian style)and I was nervous that it might not be the same. But I was pleasantly surprised that the gluten free pizza was just as good- Iprobably wouldn’t have even noticed the difference. Highly recommend. Read more

Thought the pizza was great true Detroit style and my friend had the Impossible Meatballs which were good. Would have ranked... higher but was not told that every iced tea (in a glass) was $3 and unfortunately I was thirsty. No places in Charlotte reallydo this not even the finest restaurants in town. This NY based place needs to leave that up there. I have not been charged fora refill of ice tea in this town in at least 20 years and that other place is no longer there. Otherwise very good. My go-to pizza! The Detroit style crust is amazing and so crispy! I’ve been in several times and dined at both the bar and in... the restaurant. The servers are always helpful and nice. Well worth the wait but I’d recommend reservations, especially on theweekends. If you can’t get in right away, sitting at the bar is a great option - Michael mixes up a great cocktail! Came in on a busy Saturday night, there was a small wait for a table, no problem! We went to the bar while we waited for our... table, the tattooed bartender (lauralee I think?) was very nice and gave us great service with a packed bar, we sat at our tableand were greeted promptly and had wonderful recommendations from our server, Nicole, we ordered the good Paulie and the big Aland both pizzas were cooked to perfection! Went on Sunday for lunch. Arrived just before noon and there was one table occupied. By the time we left, every table was... occupied. There is street parking just outside the restaurant and down the street. Alternatively there is a garage but not sureif the restaurant validates parking or how much it costs. The food tasted great and was delivered promptly after ordering.Ordered the Big Al. This pizza is a great blend of creamy (burratta) and spicy (not overly spicey but there's a kick). If thechiles are too much heat, you can take as much of them off as you want as they are placed on top of the basil leaf. The pizzawas cooked perfectly and the crust was amazing. I could eat their pizza everyday. Andy, our waiter was great, and all the otherstaff were just as friendly. If you haven't had their pizza definitely recommend you give them a try. Read more

Reeeeeeeally good pizza. We were visiting from NYC and had actually never had Emmy Squared despite them staring in Brooklyn.... Very impressed. We had a regular margarita and a gluten free vodka, both were incredible. Highly recommend. Read more

We loved our dinner at Emmy Squared! The restaurant has great ambiance and is very clean. Diego was our waiter and he was... awesome! We started with the Brussels sprout salad, waffle fries, and cauliflower bites. All were excellent! The pizza was thebest part. It's very filling and we were able to split it between three people. The crust reminds me of the Pizza Hut personalpan pizzas in the 90s....so good!! Read more
