This place is ALWAYS slammed on the weekends. And it?s easy to know why. The sandwich i had was so good and flavorful and... everyone i went with also loved their food. Cappuccinos are spot on! Will return! Read more

Came in for breakfast. Had egg + arugula sandwich, it was good with a little bit of spice, potatoes were crispy and tasty but... were too big, probably would work better if they are cut into smaller pieces. The regular croissant is probably one of the bestones I have tried in Charlotte, but the twice baked croissant not so much. On the bad side, the tables were sticky and I had toclean mine myself. Be ready to wait for your drinks because they take longer than the food. Read more

Eight + Sand Kitchen was a nice little café experience with a bar. The food was delectable. Good position sizes for the... price. However, the service to order food and beverages was a bit slow with only one register. The line constantly reached thedoor or was wrapped around. You have to order prior to sitting down but once ordered food and drinks come quickly. I love thatthey do offer several vegan and vegetarian items. The craft containers make it extremely hard to pour your drink withoutspilling it everywhere. If you're in the area; check this place out. Read more

Order first and the staff will bring the food and drink to you once available. If you'd like water, make sure you ask when you... order. They will give you a bottle of water to take to the table. The pastries and bread are definitely a highlight. I reallyenjoyed the croque croissant. Read more

Yum! Went here for brunch and didn't have to wait long in line to order. I liked how you order and get a number at the front as... opposed to having wait staff. I got the breakfast bowl and my friend got the croissant sandwich and everything was delicious. Read more

Great place for breakfast/brunch. It was not busy when we came on a Saturday morning at 8:30. They are in the heart of South End... on the light rail. For first timers, you grab a table on your own, grab a menu at the front, then order at the counter whenready. They'll bring out the food. Lots of seating inside and out with some shade covers. Dogs are allowed on the patio and Isaw at least one with a dog bowl with water provided. We got salmon lox toast, avocado toast, and a grilled chicken avocadomelt. The food was tasty but a bit on the salty side. I would have liked a bit more avocado. Ask for water when you order toget a carafe with cups. Loved the decor - very clean, open, and relaxing. I saw that they have a craft cocktail menu whichseems promising. Read more

Had breakfast on a Saturday morning. Food came out pretty fast. Some of the staff was friendly, others not so much. I ordered... the breakfast bowl and was disappointed with the flavor except for the potatoes. The ricotta and jam toast was decent - thestrawberry jam was delicious, think it would be better with more lemon. Read more
