We were staying an an Airbnb close by, so we decided to try the Diamond Restaurant. We originally ordered the Fried Chicken... Dinner and the Captains Platter. We didn't really dig it so much so we asked to exchange the food for the Black Bean Burger. TheBlack bean burger was GREAT! Also, the service was excellent and they were really accommodating with allowing us to exchange ourfood. They also allowed us to try the black bean hummus. It was delicious. Mac and cheese was good so was my green beans . The chicken didn?t taste as fresh but overall a good experience. Great ambiance.

The cutest classic diner! Loved the ambiance and our waitress had such great energy and was on top of it. We ordered the chicken... Philly, the patty melt, and the cheeseburger. Everything hit the spot. If you?re in the neighborhood definitely stop in! Read more
First time coming to this restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the pork chops, marinated chicken over rice and... spaghetti. We also had collard greens, green beans and Mac n cheese..... delicious ???? Read more
Good old fashioned hole in the wall but not really. Definately old times cozy interior. V.nice server. She was super chirpy.... Drinks were served over promptly and we ordered fried pickle for appetizer. Could be a bit crispy but overall good. Slicedchips kinds served with ranch. For mains he ordered a classic big block burger southern style and he is a happy trooper now. Iordered the Dixie chicken. Fried chicken burger with bacon , only I had bacon on side and no lettuce. Very crispy but I'd saychicken itself was lacking any flavor. The breading was bland as well. Clean rr, they do have a full bar but no such cocktailmenu. Read more
Great food, honest prices. This is a nice diner you could take anybody to. I've eaten here dozens of times, and I'll be sure to... come back whenever I'm back in town. They have a great local craft beer selection, too. Read more
