First time at this spot and the recommendation was spot on. The meat was well cooked, sandwiches (as advertised) crisp and just... all around delicious. I wasn't sure I wanted a sandwich, but no regrets. And the Vietnamese cold coffee was soooo good. I thinkI like it better than Cafe Bustello- but to each it's own. Delicious, and great vegan options! The seitan they use for the vegetarian bahn mi is so good! It's like shredded chicken. The... bread is good and the proportion of "meat" and veggies to bread is perfect. The salty lemon juice is wonderful and veryrefreshing! Perfect for rehydrating after sweating your face off in this stupid, way-too-hot city. I didn't get a dessert, butI'll definitely be getting one next time.
