My first time trying this place and I must say I was very impressed. One of the best Jamaican food locations in the city hands... down! I ordered takeout curry chicken as well as the jerk chicken. The curry chicken was very well seasoned with authenticspices and flavor. The cabbage was flavorful and tender, and the Mac& cheese was good as well. The customer service SOLD ME!The Young lady smiled the entire time she was serving me , she even suggestively sold me on the Rum punch. The young lady eveninvited me and my family to an up coming event the location was hosting definitely WOWED my experience. Don’t question trying this location deserves 5 ? ???? for sure! Read more

As I have read other reviews, it's disappointing to see the response the low ratings. Ppl don't buy food to keep bringing it... back. If everyone brought back their food to you, there would be too much traffic on WT Harris. So we write reviews to share ourexperiences. The staff are very friendly, however my experiences with food here has also been poor. I am from a very Jamaicanhousehold (that can cook our behinds off, lol), and on occasion when we don't feel like cooking, would like to order some goodJamaican food. Unfortunately we have regretted every time we have purchased from cocoas, for similar reasons stated by previousnegative reviews. There is truth behind them because I have experienced them. Based on the companies responses to these type offeedback, there will likely be no improvement. This last purchase of simple beef patties (nowhere puts beef patties in foilpaper, they are supposed to be flaky, not soggy) will be our last. Read more

So very good. Always drive by never stopped until referred. Excellent oxtail and chicken. Sides are a little small for the... price. Cabbage and rice are cheap. Fast order and super fast to prepare. Fresh each time we go. Owner is often on site andsuper nice, welcoming and helps all over. They even have a patio w music. Great spot. Read more

Fantastic food. I’m not sure why some didn’t give it a 5star. We had the jerk chicken and curry chicken. Both were amazing.... We order hot. It was perfect amount of heat. The plantains we cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was great too. The beef pattywas obviously home made. I think everything was great. We sat on the patio. It really felt like we were on vacation!
