This looked like how it is at a regular south Indian tiffin place looks in Bangalore or Chennai. Full of people, lucky to get a... table. Order your food at the (unmanned, but an electronic order terminal) counter. Then wait for your name to be called.Typican places in India used to give a little paper token with a number in places like Kamat in Bangalore. But this is a littlemore tech, but someone still calls your name. You will get couple types of Samar for self service in 4oz styrofoam containersand 3 types of chutney in 2 oz paper containers. Not bad, I shipped some of the sambar while waiting for my name to becalled. Chutney was ok I would say, not any top class or anything. We ordered a Vada Pao, spring dosa and a south Indian Thalimeal. Thali ( a styrofoam tray with rice, chapati and 4 mass cooked daal and vegetables) was ok, per my wife. I asked her wouldyou come back next week, she thought for a while, then said - may be in a few months. I did not get my Vada Pao, but was seowith some chutney and/or ketchup and some garnish. They did replace it and gave us the Vada Pao, which we packed it to go, as wewere done with the Thali and Dosa by then. Spring dosa was ok. Read more

Decent place to try Indian food, the taste was ok maybe we expected too much, their 90m dosa was great like how we get in India,... sambar , chutney, vada was all just ok, did not tasted like South Indian cuisine. Rava dosa was bit hard maybe we went on wrongday on Sunday evening. Read more

When we walked in the smell of delicious food hit us immediately and made me excited to order. We ordered 5 items. Mango lassi,... which was delicious; Sitaphal/chikku milkshake which was okay and didn't really amaze me. The Channa Batura was delicious, andthe pani puri reminded me of India. The Dahi Sev was okay, not the best I've tasted - maybe they should have put the tamarindsauce on top instead of the bottom so it is more flavourful. The place was clean and we would go again. Bear in mind you need togo to the counter and pick your food up and there is a water stand with cups if you need it. Restrooms could have been cleanerbut they were decent, there was ample tissue paper. The restaurant could do better if they improved the atmosphere and ambience,we will return for chaat if we're in the area again. Read more
