The Big Fish Sandwich combo is a perfect way to get my quality seafood fix for the day at a manageable price. The bread they use... for the sandwich is good. The fish and sauce go together perfectly! I really enjoy the flavor of Captain D's and this locationupheld that standard. The inside is also open for indoor dining. It was one car in front of me yet it still took 10 min I ordered fish and chicken meal after sitting there 10 another 10 min she... came to the window I was hot and thirsty by this time I asked for a med ice tea she proceeded to tell me they usually don?t takeorders at the window but she will this time like really then I get my food after another 5 min get to my friends house no fishno side just 2 pieces of chicken and 4 hush puppies ???? Nothing special when referring to the entire menu. The fish here is great! My grandmother and grandfather loved this place. The... taste is still the same and they actually do have the best tartar sauce if you ask me. I say go around the time they first openfor the best freshness and of course if the owner is there the food will definitely be fresh. But give there fish a try anddon't forget the tartar sauce!! I visited here a couple weeks ago a bit about 9pm. I went through drive thru. I had not eaten in a very long time and I was... extremely hungry! Additionally, I was only in the area to drive for Lyft. I got the grilled filled and shrimp and it was sogood. I?m doing keto, so this was a good fast food options. I didn?t eat the rice or the bread though, as it?s not low carb atall. Lol. I had to wait about 5 or so minutes at the window to get my food. So I got in at night, and just to tell you I'll never eat here again I got the I think it's six pieces of fish and four pieces... of chicken the chicken was cooked so long that it was so hard my dogs couldn't even eat the chicken the fish was soft like ithad not been in the batter long enough or in the deep fryer excuse me they had to keep asking this one girl what to do cuz theother ones didn't know they forgot my hush puppies I had to wait on those good thing is is they were fresh but I don't thinkI'll ever go back to this one I'm from Michigan and I live in Statesville and we don't have a Captain D's up in Statesville so Iwas very happy when I found one in Charlotte when I was doing lift but it was the worst experience I've ever had Read more
