This is such a fun store to shop in and explore!! If going on the weekends its nice to get there when they first open, as it... does get crowded! Customer service is typically great and I love the salon! It is not an inexpensive store, so may want tocheck that out before you go. It is easy to get carried away!! We finally made our way to the American Girl Store, and I think it might be my daughters? new favorite place! The staff was... awesome, and they were friendly and quick to help. Over the phone I scheduled appointments for the birthday hairstyle and dollear piercing, and it was a great experience. We probably spent a couple hours each time we went in the store, but I think mygirls could have easily stayed longer. It?s nice to see and even put hands on the items from online or the catalog before buyingthem. Read more
My daughter and i celebrated her 6th birthday here and let me just say the staff was so patient and helpful as my baby girl... shopped around and to add icing on the cake we took the mommy and me mothers day cooking/tea party class at the American GirlBistro!!!! Took my girls here for the first time. Visiting Charlotte and roaming the mall for a bit. My girls fell in love with the... products. Sadly the in store experience was bad with employees. Ignored us. No eye contact. No interactions. They all justhuddled around the cash register talking to each other. Five people. Really surprised since it?s a store for kids. Spent over ahour here with no interaction other than the money exchange. Very disappointed. Read more
