Only get one star because the young lady behind the counter was very sweet. If not for that I Woolf give zero. I ordered the... Rueben and wings combo. Wings were soooooo tiny and fried hard could barely eat any of the little bit of meat. The Rueben meatwas kind of tough and just not enjoyable. Fries were good though. So we show up at 630pm Sunday night. One of the personnel met us at the door stating they were closed and that the last person... they just served took the rest of their wings and they shut off the grill. ..while the hours clearly state till 7pm. Does ittake a half hour to fry up some wings and a salad? I mean even with the regular wait of 15 minutes it still would not have been7pm if she had taken my order! I'm disgusted because I really wanted lemon pepper wings and a fried chicken salad FROM AMERICANDELI after a very long stressful day and I was brutally rebuffed by untimely unprofessionalism and I am still hungry!!!! I love this place but I'm pist about this phone!!!!! I just don't understand why this location can't never answer the phone when... you call the number provided; it's always busy as if they have the phone off the hook. I have one thing to say American Deli @University....you are running a business there is no reason for your phone not to be on the hook at all times!!!! Read more

I ordered on door dash. First of all they make you choose a sauce upgrade. Light sauce is free but extra sauce or sauce on the... side is an upcharge. It's a required option. Then they don't let you choose multiple sauces. They also don't allow you to addany notes. I tried to ca the store and they wouldn't pick up the phone. So annoying. Read more

It seems like everything my son goes here the order is wrong...last time I went I ordered honey hot wings...which is a hot wing... sauce w/ honey added, how about I just got honey on my wings....where they do that at????? I guess they make what they assumeyou asked for even though I don't believe that's on the menu....Otherwise....they really do make good food when made correctly.
