I?ve eaten at this place twice,The food is good but you?ll probably have to wait two hours to get it, The portions are very... small and for the price it?s honestly not worth it. I?d recommend just going somewhere else. Read more

Updated: When I called and ordered, I asked for Goat Soup. I apologize that I don?t know the correct term, I am a new to... ordering foreign dishes. If you?re located on The Plaza near Milton Rd, then this is the correct business. Be humble andapologize sometimes. Looks like you have a reputation of arguing with unsatisfied customers instead of apologizing. People wouldprobably would be willing to come back, delete a negative review, and leave a positive review -if you practiced this. (Originalreview) Goat soup was VERY salty. It was rushed because they were about to close. Also unprofessional & unpleasant cashier.Waste of $20. Never again. Read more

The food was TERRIBLE! And these reviews were very misleading. We got egusi stew which was disgusting, the jollof rice had no... spice and tasted store bought, the okra soup was bland, and the fufu was just ok! We wasted $51 on food that was inedible. Ifyou want real authentic African food I would highly recommend Mama Gee?s and the only reason why we didn?t go there first wasbecause they were closed! Highly disappointed. Read more

I?m sad that I didn?t get to try the food here. We tried to dine in at 7:15 PM and we were turned away and informed that they... were only doing take out because they only had two servers and that it would be too much work for them. Mind you we were theonly customers there. Then for take out they had a very limited menu?.. only two soups for the Fufu and only goat and beefavailable?. I was hoping for the full West African experience instead we were shooed away because two servers thought it was toohard to cater to the only two customers in their establishment?? Read more

I?ve been here a few times and the food is always fresh and hot. Edit: I hadn?t eaten here in a while and decided to place an... Ubereats order. I ordered egusi soup and pounded yam, and to my surprise, the quality of food has gone down DRASTICALLY. Myinitial review is from a year ago, so I know what quality to expect. The portion of food I received wasn?t enough for a child, yet I was charged nearly $20. I was also charged extra for goat meat and received all bones!!! I was livid, but wanted to givethem an opportunity to make things right. I called the restaurant and spoke with Kenric, who advised he would reach out to theowner. I took pictures of my meal and sent them to the email address he provided. Long story short, the cook told Kenric thatthey?d actually put extra meat in my soup (a complete joke!!!), and the owner said he?d put extra meat in my food the next timeI ordered. No offer to remake my food or partially refund my order. Judging by the reviews, my experience is not unique. They?dbetter make some changes before no one wants to eat here. I certainly won?t be back. I attached pictures of my food so we ALLcan see that there was no meat in my soup, and how tiny the bowl is. If you don?t want to be cheated out of your money, tryRoyal African Cuisine. The food is priced about the same and the portions are way bigger. Read more

This was the best tasting food ever, went there last weekend and the food is out of this world. Get in when it opens as it soon... gets full. Had the spicy goat, cassava chicken and fish and plantain. Will definitely go back!!! Read more
