Maybe it was the massage I came from, or the golden hour that was happening on the patio, but the vibes and food here were... amazing. Super relaxing and elegant without stuffiness. We tried the Cesar salad, truffle fries with cheese fondue, thelasagna, honey badger pizza, and a kids pepperoni pizza. Service here was great! The Cesar had a great dressing. I would haveliked a little lemon with it to give it some tartness and brightness but that’s just a personal preference. Truffle frieswith cheese fondue were tasty and the kids liked those. I had my eye on the artichoke but they weren’t on the menu anymore.Maybe they’ll bring it back and I can try it. Definitely order the lasagna!! It is shareable and very tasty! Huge highlightof the meal! Would have loved some garlic bread to accompany it for the sauce but we had pizza crust to use. Only had a sliceof the pizza but what I tried was great! This is a classy restaurant with delicious food! I'm gluten free and totally enjoyed all of the different options that were... available. I had the pizza with cauliflower crust which tasted amazing! It didn't even taste gluten free! I also had the wingsand the truffle fries which were equally delicious. My husband had the lasagna and loved it. The portions are big as well. Ontop of all of that the owner, Jaun made us feel like royalty. He's a genuinely kind person with a big heart. We made a newfriend! I've heard many great things about 800 Degrees and I decided to take my family here this past weekend to check out the vibe.... First off, I need to say that the atmosphere, decor and ambiance fits the bill for this restuarant. Secondly, the customerservice was good and the waitstaff did an excellent job with serving us. Where my 2 stars comes into play is that the menu islimited in the sense that I expected more options and most importantly, I was not impressed with the QC's Wood Fired Burger. Itwas prepared as I requested but there really wasn't any flavor to taste let alone indulge in. It was somewhat bland and therewas more flavor of the meat than the seasoning that should be there. The bun was extremely soggy from oil and the bun wasmediocre. My wife order the Margherita Pizza and I tried some of that; it was horrible! Again, for me there was no real flavoror personality just some cheese, toppings and that was it. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed with our visit herebecause after reading the reviews, I was looking forward to enjoying this place. I will definitely not be going back. Read more
Some lazy afternoons you decide to roam around not knowing what to do or what to eat and then you discover something really nice... and cozy. That was our day at 800° Woodfired Kitchen. Since we are very small eaters and don't do beef or pork. We chose ourtartufo bianca pizza and herb seasoned fries with pecorino dip. A pink lady mocktail to wash it down. Now the pizza was ever solight that I could probably just apply as smooth cream over my face. The ingredients was light fresh and cooked to perfection.This Woodfired pizza just showed me that it could be light and not make you stuffed or bloated. The fries was not even sharedwith me by my son and husband as they devoured it!! Our server for the afternoon was Joseph S and he was patient kind and veryinformative. We were also attended by two other beautiful ladies who were so responsible and accommodating. I would want tothank Woodfired Kitchen for their beautiful service as just like their food- their staffs were 100% the best ! It was abeautiful experience and it was worth our money. It has a fine dining vibe with a casual atmosphere. Everything we had was amazing! Lots of outdoor seating with heat lamps and... when the wind picked up we were offered warm blankets. Staff is very attentive to all your needs. Order the artichoke ifthat’s your thing, it was amazing, we’ll be back for sure. Read more
One of the many great restaurants in Philips Place. A few things to keep in mind. 1. The food is great. We had pizza, wings,... truffle fries, crab cakes, and a burger. Everything was delicious. You will not be disappointed with your order. 2. You willpay for the location. It may seem like the prices are a bit high for a pizza restaurant. However, the pricing is in line withother restaurants in the area. We knew what to expect beforehand so we were ok with the pricing. 3. Indoor seating islimited. This is not the place for a large party. We came for dinner and the place quickly filled up. There is definitely noroom for social distancing inside. It quickly became a bit uncomfortable. In their defense, they do offer quite a bit of patioseating and they have heating towers set up as well. However, the frequent opening and closing the doors to service the patiomakes the indoor dining area a bit cold and breezy. I'm sure the dining experience is probably better during spring and fallmonths. 4. We were very pleased with the customer service. The waitress was kind and did a good job getting our orders in andserved pretty quickly. They also made sure to keep our beverages filled up. 5. There is not a dress code. It was verycasual. 6. My first time at this establishment! I was invited by a friend who has eaten here several times already since it opened. Clean,... fresh and modern decor, with a beautiful mural. We had a great spot at the window and a wonderful server! Everything we triedwas delicious! Pizza, salad and a glass of Pino Noir. There is a cozy, beautifully decorated bar in the back which we did nothave a chance to try as well as an outdoor patio which will be wonderful in warmer weather. Definitely check this place out! This is a fantastic place for incredible pizza. Burgers are also delicious! The Caesar salad was the best I have had outside of... making it homemade in my house. All of the ingredients were top quality in every dish. Service was great. The dinner menuincludes lasagna. I will have to go back to try that! Read more
