Stopped here on the way back from the beach. It's in a strip mall but we ate outside at one of the few tables they had. We all... ordered burritos and they were excellent. Chips, guac and salsa were also very good. The place itself is nothing special, butthe food and service were very good. If we ever come back to this area, we would eat here again. Read more
Delicious! Lots of choices for a hungry vegan! Enjoyed the huge Santa Fe Ensaladas (w/o the cheese) along with grilled veggies... and tofu (poblano balsamic dressing) and the cole slaw (vegan!). YoBo Cantina is an awesome place to grab lunch with a colleague during the week or happy hour drinks with friends. The... atmosphere is fun and inviting and the location is great! If you go, you HAVE to try their signature drink, the mason jarmargarita! It's by far the best marg in all of Charleston! Read more
I came in with 2 friends for lunch and we ordered tacos, a burrito, nachos, soup, and the daily special. We shared it all.... Service was prompt and friendly. The bartender was busy but still found time to strike up a good conversation. The place itselfis small and has a cool southern/tex/mex vibe. Awesome margaritas, great tequila selection and phenomenal food. You can sit upat the bar and watch them make it all. What a gem of place. We left stuffed and impressed with our experience. Maybe I am the 1% that travels abroad and expects a certain authenticity when I see a restaurant named with a Mexican theme but... I was a little disappointed by the fact that the corn tortillas were out of the pack and not cooked on the grill nor was thesteak cooked to order as those items were cold when served. I ordered 3 different styles of tacos and one was carnitas and itreally was something like a shredded pork out of the can. The attached picture shows the lack of grilling on the corn tortillas. I rated 4 stars because the restaurant was clean, staff is friendly and it looks like it can be a cool place to hang out. Read more
If you're in the mood for some great Mexican food, YoBo Cantina Fresca is the place to go! The atmosphere is fun and festive,... and the food is amazing.
