After reading the previous reviews I was on the fence but decided to take a chance and I am so happy we did. The food was... balanced in flavor and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and at their peak. You left feeling satisfied and not full.Meaning you are no longer hungry but not stuffed. The tell tale sign of clean preparation. (I.e. no heavy oils etc) take theleap, you will be happy that you did. Read more

Maybe the best meal we had in Charleston. Excellent service in a casual setting. The flies were bad, but thankfully they shared... the little table fan to help. If you like to explore unique tastes off the Charleston standard, you?ll love stop. Our favs -okonomiyaki, dumplings, fried rice Cons - the flies, no biscuits on the menu Read more

Some of the best food I?ve ever had. I?m not a picky eater in the least, but I am an connoisseur of the culinary arts, and this... place absolutely takes your tastebuds on a journey. The creativeness of the yet simplistic menu, mixed with locally sourcedingredients and relaxed atmosphere makes it an absolute must have in the Charleston area. Read more

The food was okay but overpriced. We ordered papaya salad, dumplings, shrimp noodle, and Japanese pancake. Japanese pancake and... papaya salad were really tasty. The dumplings were $11 for 4 dumplings and the shrimp noodle is meant to be cold but the noodlesthemselves tasted hard as if they were undercooked. Definitely a good spot if you?re looking to try out different Asian fooddishes but you may be disappointed if you?re expecting authentic Asian food. Read more

Always a funky cool little spot to visit when in town! Really small menu, but tasty options. The pork and peanut dumplings are... definitely what stood out from the 2 options I got! Not the biggest servings and a bit on the pricier side.. I got 1 appetizer,an entree and a side of rice and walked out of there for about $35... So definitely only a once in a while dinner spot for me,but it's a hip hang out with a Charleston scene and a nice seating area outside. Worth checking out once or twice if you live inCharleston or are just passing through looking for a cool restaurant! Read more

We stopped in to celebrate my partner?s birthday since he loves Asian fusion. Some things were excellent and others were a miss.... The drinks were ok but nothing spectacular. Service was decent though the food seemed overpriced even for Charleston. We satoutside since the weather was nice. I may give it another try when back in town but I wouldn?t put it on top of the list. Read more

Ate here because several locals said it was one of the best places to eat in Charleston. Place is fairly small with both indoor... and outdoor seating. We went at around 530pm on a Monday. By 6:00 it was crowded. We had a large group but were able to sittogether. Entrees are served family style. We ordered one of every entree and appetizer. Our favorites were the pork noodles (wegot 3 of those), the okonomiyaki (a Japanese cabbage pancake) and the Brussel Sprouts. But everything was fantastic. There isvery little parking. It is mostly street parking. Service was excellent. Read more
