I've only eaten here once but I will be coming back no doubt. We came during Sunday Brunch around 1130 on Memorial Day weekend... so the restaurant and the whole area in Daniel Island was relatively empty. Which allowed us to easily get parking across thestreet (which I've been told is not always the case). Our server was very friendly and did not rush us to order and came backto check on us frequently. I was catching up with some friends I hadn't seen in a while so we were talking more than reading themenu. I ordered the Cantina Breakfast Bowl while both my friends got the Pollo and Waffles (both of these are from the weekendbrunch menu). They both said they really enjoyed their meal but I can't really speak to the details. What I can say is that Ienjoyed the hell out of my bowl ???? The bowl comes with ingredients divided into four quadrants. You have sweet (Roasted?)corn, crispy home fries, black beans and the final quadrant is your choice of rice, mine was cilantro lime. This is topped withtwo hard fried eggs, crema and some other tasty sauce along with some sliced avacado and pickled onions. The ingredients wereall so fresh and delicious and so vegetable forward that it stood well on its on without the need for any additionalprotein. I'm planning to go back to try something from the regular menu, but I can already tell this is some of the bestauthentic Mexican food in town. I took my daughter for her birthday and the place was so nice. From the outside of the building to the inside the decorations... was so bright and colorful. The service was really nice and the food.The atmosphere was really nice I would definitely go back. Read more

I will drive from West Ashley to DI for these glorious tacos any day of the week! By far the best Taco spot in Charleston. Not... to mention the atmosphere, drinks, and service is awesome. I will go back to take pictures. High ceilings with a clean contemporary setting on Daniel Is. Much better Mexican food than... most. Reasonably priced and good service. I can't wait to go back. Read more
Everyone in our party loved this place! They have a large outdoor dog friendly patio with plenty of umbrellas to provide shade.... This place has beautiful glassware for all of their drinks, not the typical cheap plastic cups you find at most Mexicanrestaurants. Their margarita menu has many options and two spicy options which made me happy! Taco menu had a lot of variety,but get the birria taco! It was served with more of a hot sauce than the typical cooking sauce but was delicious just as well.Friendly and efficient service. I couldn't ask for more! Read more
