It\'s an unexpected find. Went for the tasting menu on Wednesday night. Food program is on point. Matt (I hope I got that right)... is amazing, he knows the wines down to the street address of the winery. Service is solid, but on a tasting night you don\'t getreset after each course. We also received our second wine in the same glass as our first bottle. The place is small so adish/silverware/wine glass fiasco might ensue if there were this many dishes and wine glasses flooding the dishwasher. I hatewriting this, cause I may have more trouble getting a reservation. But, they are putting in the work and deserve to berecognized. Read more
Adorable wine bar. Great selection and offerings, and they serve all the wine at a perfectly chilled temp to beat the Charleston... heat. GET THE SHRIMP TOAST. It\'s easily one of the most creative and delicious appetizers or snack. Love this new spot! Read more

My wife and I couldn’t be happier that we... did!\n\nThe wine selection was excellent and we also had one of the appetizers (a dip with fresh local bread andveggies.)\n\nAmbiance was on point. It felt inviting from the moment you walked in. A great way to start or end yourevening!\n\nMatt and Paige were super kind and we had a great time talking about all the fun things to do inCharleston.\n\nWe’re coming back in the fall for our anniversary and we will definitely be visiting The Tippling House again. This was the first bar my wife and I hit up after getting into town. The atmosphere and the service were 10/10. Our server was... super nice and very knowledgeable about every single wine on their extensive list. We’re definitely not wine snobs, so wereally appreciated how kindly and simply she presented the info about all the different kinds of wine and their respectiveflavors. As the cherry on top, the music they were playing was phenomenal (all the greatest millennial hits). Read more

Very cute neighborhood gem with a great selection of wines to choose from. The location is a converted house and has a very... warm and intimate feel. The owner and staff were very friendly and have a real passion for wine. This is an ideal spot for apre-dinner drink or a nightcap if you are having dinner nearby. Being in the wine industry for over 20 years we thoroughly enjoyed our visit while on our anniversary trip. Loved the... varietals and the idea of th half bottles so we could try different wines. Lots of imported options. Loved it so much we went2 nights in a row!! Read more
