Food was absolutely delicious! We got dinner from the restaurant itself and had room service the next morning bring breakfast.... For the delicious food and amazing service you get, it is well worth the money. Not only did our waitress provide incredibleservice, even the host kept walking back and checking on us. I forgot to take photos of it but the bacon and cheddar hushpuppies with maple glaze is a MUST TRY! I got the fried chicken breast with Charleston red rice and collards and my fiance gotthe cheeseburger and added a fried egg to it. It was DELICIOUS! The next morning we ordered a Belgian waffle with bacon (which Ishared cause it was so much bacon) and a stack of pancakes with sausages. We called down and asked if it was breakfast sausage(which it wasn't) but still tasty! Read more

I was having trouble finding a restaurant that would accommodate our party of 9. Called the Swamp Fox Restaurant and was easily... able to reserve a table for a Saturday. The service here was incredible the hostess was so sweet and kept checking on usthroughout the meal. Our server was just as wonderful. Our table had the bacon and cheddar hush puppies and the she crab soupand both were phenomenal. Our entrees were also great. I don't think there are enough adjectives to describe the food. We started with Bacon Cheddar hush puppies with a hint of... jalapeno. Amazing! Drizzled with just enough maple syrup to make the taste unique. The boneless fried chicken breast wasextremely juicy, more so than most in the area. The mashed potatoes were real, not powder, and had just the right amount ofgravy to compliment them. The Mac & Cheese...divine. Not sure what kind of cheese they use, but definitely a unique taste. Topit of with the ankle breaker cocktail and you have a nearly perfect combination. Definitely try the Swamp Fox, it is worth it. Excellent service & great-tasting food! My favorite is the chicken entree. It's a big chicken cutlet cooked to perfection --... crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It is served on top of collard greens and mashed potatoes with gravy on the side.Both sides are delicious! The crab dip with crackers was a special for the night -- it was okay. Read more

This restaurant is part of the Francis Marion Hotel. We only ate here twice both for breakfast (particularly on days when we had... busy plans). The food was delicious. We had French toast, bacon and eggs, and pancakes. All were delicious! We had one reallygreat experience with a really attentive waitress (sadly I for got her name). But she was wonderful! Delicious food and amazing service! My husband and I stayed in the Francis Marion Hotel and ate here most mornings for... breakfast. I can't speak to their lunch or dinner, but if it is on par with their breakfast then it is extremely good also. Thebreakfast was large and delicious. I had everything from the corned beef to the regular two eggs and even oatmeal one day. Thestaff here are very personable and efficient. They will fulfill your every culinary need. Even if you are not staying at thehotel, this would be a place I would put on my list to eat at! Read more
