I took my wife here on her birthday recently and it was a fantastic experience. When we got there they congratulated her on her... birthday and sat us at our table. We ordered drinks (we picked odd ones and they were pretty good) and when we got our dessertsthey wrote ?Happy 30th Birthday? on the plate in chocolate and put a candle in it. We didn?t ask for it, but we?re glad theythought about it and put those touches on the plate!! Then the server walked around with us and took some good pictures of usaround the restaurant. Customer service was next level good! As for the desserts everything we got was delicious. They broughtout a small bite that was really good. She got the Samoa dessert and I got the ice cream sampler both were delicious! We gottheir signature cake to go and we just got into it tonight. It?s really really good. I recommend it highly! Had a late night cap with my beau and it was lovely. The presentation of both the desserts and drinks was sublime. The interior... of the restaurant presented as very upscale with attention to privacy. Lighting was dim and perfectly appropriate. Our serverwas great and recommended a few desserts and drinks to try. I wish I remembered their names but this was back in May. I?lldefinitely be back for my next Charleston getaway! Read more
Greeted by a very nice hostess. Our server was friendly and was training someone, both were pleasant. It wasn?t busy the night... we came but the service was a little slow. We came for desserts and cocktails? phenomenal! The Kinsey Cake and Caramel Tart weresome of the best desserts I?ve had in awhile. The Kinsey Cake had delicious and smooth chocolate mousse with the cutest edibletoppings. The Caramel Tart had bits of popcorn with meringue, hits any savory sweet cravings. Love this place!! Such fancy desserts and dessert martinis, with the perfect balance of savory items to go with it all! Our... waitress was the sweetest and got all kinds of pictures, and also took me to all the little photo booths throughout therestaurant and got pictures of me there, too! Sublime. This place is not only visually stunning, friendly, chic, and classy; but every little detail that was put into its... making was so well-designed and well-thought. I LOVE it here. Hands down my new favorite place in Charleston. The location issituated perfectly in the lively section of King street. Parking is easy in the public ramps or lots right nearby. We had areservation and there was no wait time to be seated upon arrival. Our server was AMAZING. So friendly and intuitive. She wasthere with refills and anything we needed before we asked. We didn?t even have to break our conversation at our table. We haddrinks; both beautiful in presentation and interesting flavor combinations that were so creative and tasty. Along with that, wehad items from the salty menu. Everything tasted fantastic and was fulfilling. The music and the vibe are fun and lively. The honey hive is pure joy and just an aesthetic dream. Aside from the interior design finesse and beauty of absolutely every... touch in there, the food is dynamite. Our server, Sonia, was absolutely incredible!!! She treated us like royalty from start tofinish and was so sweet, friendly, attentive and gave us so many great recommendations. The entire time Throughout our dinnershe kindly poured us our champagne, refreshed our plates, gave some stellar recommendations as well! We had the zucchiniflowers, ham croquettes, tomato tarte, Capitelli and complimentary bread with our bottle purchase (it was half price wine Wed!!)It was my best friends bday and she brought us an amazing over the top dessert that was literally to die for !
