Who comes to Charleston to eat Thai food? I do! Thai Zapp delivered great food and a great experience. The restaurant is clean... and beautifully decorated. The menu is not your typical Thai menu. Unlike some places, they were very happy to customize dishesfor me. They made me a great vegetarian soup, as well as vegetarian fresh rolls. My server, Yao, was very friendly and checkedin to make sure I enjoyed my meal. She answered all my questions about the menu and was very friendly and attentive. She is anasset to this place. Will come back again when I'm in Charleston. Read more

While in town for the winter, this was one of the most highly rated places open on December 25. We are a fan of Thai so we said... why not. We arrived approximately 3:40 pm, and while the venue wasn?t packed when we arrived to place a to go order, it was astruggle to get someone?s attention to place it. We were told to go would be about 20 minutes. We waited over an hour. Otherscame and went with their to go and were seated and provided their meals. I want to believe it was due to the date because theratings gave me confused. Food: Drunken Noodles was not what I expected or what I?m used to. They were sweet and spicy. It?snothing I?ve ever tasted before. Not necessarily good or bad. I wouldn?t order again. The massaman curry was good. My sonenjoyed his chicken satay and fried rice. I wouldn?t return. However that doesn?t mean you shouldn?t. I hope you find thisreview helpful. If so, please give me thumbs up. Thank you. Read more
Severely understaffed?there are only 2 waitresses. Water was brought out to us glass by glass. Took 30 min to get even 1... appetizer and 45 min for the first main dish. The other appetizers (soups) and main dishes trickled in in the next 15 minutes. Ineeded more napkins, and we had to remind our waitress for them. Everything tasted okay, except the Drunken Noodle wasdefinitely not authentic. It was too light-colored and didn?t smell of fish sauce and oyster sauce as it?s supposed to. It alsoshouldn?t have tomato and broccoli. The restaurant doesn?t check vaccination status, unfortunately. Read more
We had green curry and drunken noodles. The green curry was very good but drunken noodles a little different than traditional.... It tasted like it had some barbecue or sriracha sauce. It wasn't bad, just not traditional as we expected. The seating inside isvery nice and we very much recommend it. Read more
Almost missed the very unassuming street sign of this restaurant. Went inside and to my delight discovered a great menu with a... terrific range of genuine Thai food. The taste was brilliant and authentic. I'm going to just say it, this is the best Thai foodI've had in the USA. I'm saying that after crossing 7 states on this trip. We'll done Thai Zapp!! Read more
