As a former employee, kimberly (the owner) is corrupt. she says she?s paying you a certain amount but will lower your pay... without telling you (very illegal btw) and on a minor? get your stuff together. she said we were getting our online tips andwhen i got the check stubs, which i had to ask for multiple times before receiving, i wasn?t getting any online tips. i wastrained by an employee who was trained by his friend which basically just told him ?make a sub?. we were never taught how to letpeople use their coupons, pay with the app etc. if it was more than putting your card in or paying with cash we probably didn?tknow how to do it. when kimberly was called out for her taking money from me and my boyfriend she wrote him a check for almost$700. she did right her wrong but that doesn?t say she won?t do it again. i personally wouldn?t not support her location or workhere. she had 2 minors closing the store every night alone and sometimes we wouldn?t leave until 12 doing prep. there would alsobe EMERGENCIES at subway while we were working and we would call or text her and she wouldn?t text back because she was outbusy. our safety was compromised multiple times in exchange for her fun, i bet she doesn?t even know. i can?t say anything nowbut if any health inspector walked in there while i was working we would get closed, not bc i wasn?t cleaning or not doing myjob right but because these disgusting things were completely out of my control. at the end of the day Kimberly, the lady allthe regulars love, is corrupt and is not a good person. This is not the worst Subway in Charleston, I mainly give it points for the good location and large dining area. Don't go in if... you're in a big rush, as they are usually 2 employees max even at peak hours. It's fine if you've got no plans. Edit: Asthere's a lot of employee turnover it's now about a 50% chance of having a good experience there. There are about 3 or 4competent employees total at this location, you just have to hope one of them is working when you visit. There are times you goin and nobody is up front for over 5 minutes and you can faintly here them out gossiping in the back. I just leave if nobody isup front to take orders for a long time. Still, if you're patient it's not the worst place you could go. Read more

Awesome service! The food was amazing (well, of course it was, it's Subway, Subway always tastes great) but I was particularly... impressed with customer service today. Had a horrible experience visiting this location. Probably the worst experience I?ve ever had with an employee. I asked if they... still offered the flatbread pizzas and the employee rolled her eyes and mumbled ?no?. I asked for a 6? flatbread and if shecould put just marinara and cheese on it for my picky toddler?I didn?t mind what they rang me up for. She literally said ?tsk, man! I don?t feel like doing this!? out loud to my face. I was embarrassed for her and appalled by her behavior and the state ofthe store itself. I told her to keep the sandwich in that case and she gave me the saltiest smile. It was annoying after waitingpatiently in line for about 10 minutes with my 3-year-old son! I hopped on over to MOD pizza and they provided hot, fresh foodand genuine service. Thank God we don?t live around here, but if you do, I?d have to recommend NEVER darkening the door of thisunpleasant establishment. Read more

Horrible experience. It took 20 mins to get served with only three people in line ahead of me. Once I was served, I ordered a... foot-long rotisserie chicken on wheat with provolone cheese. There was barely any rotisserie chicken in the bowl - it was mostlyliquid. The woman serving me scooped the liquid and few bits of chicken left in the bowl on to my bread and started placing thecheese on the sandwich. I asked her if she could go in the back and bring more chicken out because there was barely any chickenon the bread (you could see empty spaces on the bread with sparse bits of chicken). She said she's only required to give me twoscoops of chicken. I said I would pay extra if she would bring out more chicken. She said they didn't have any. To top theexperience off, I tried paying with my Subway app and she said she didn't know how to do that. Luckily I had brought cash withme. Read more

Sandwich was made just as I ordered. I'd give it more stars but the place was understaffed. I waited at the drive through for a... few minutes with no response so I drove up to the window where I waited about 10 minutes more minutes before I was helped. Theperson working was very nice and had been attending to the several people ordering inside. It was a pretty long wait for justpicking up an online order, but understandable given the present situation of everyone being short staffed. Read more
