We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waiter was hands on and attentive. We ordered cocktails, grits and the Butternut... Squash soup with Brussel Sprouts and potatoes! Everything was amazingly delicious! BTW I went with extra spicy on the Shrimp andGrits but y?all it was not hot, so go for that extra heat! Read more

Great dinner here, service was spot on - there when expected, not in your face when not. Food was superb - Clam appetizer with... bread to soak up the extra sauce, cold salmon salad, watermelon & burrata salad, gazpacho soup (not pictured) and for mains duckbreast and perfectly seared scallops were both excellent. With cocktails and a bottle of wine, diner was over $100/person butwould have been under easily without those. Read more

I enjoyed the raw osters, clams & and shrimp platter. This most be a tourist hot spot, because the wait time was about an hour... and worth it. My fiance had the sword fish sandwich which he loved. Great customer service and the outside host was verypersonable. Read more

Great restaurant! The food was super delicious and the service was really good. We had fried okra as an appetizer. Delish! We... ordered flounder and beef tenderloin. Both of the dishes were so, so delicious ????????????! We had the peach cobbler fordessert. Also amazing! Beyond the food, the service was great. The atmosphere was upscale without the pretense and the livemusic was really good! Would definitely recommend this restaurant! Read more

This is a go to if your visiting in Charleston and want incredible food and service. Our waitress was amazing. She checked on us... throughout the entire meal and made sure we were loving everything. The cornbread they bring out is one of the best I've everhad. Presentation with food is beautiful. Overall service is stellar and bonus they had live music while we were there duringdinner. Best restaurant we ate at while in Charleston, and we did the rounds with all the top places. We had the clams and the shrimp... and grits. Both were the best I've ever had. The sauce the clams came in was so flavorful that we kept it and asked for extrabread to dip into it. The shrimp and grits was a generous portion, a light spicy kick that wasn't too spicy and didn't pull fromall the other flavors. Absolutely recommend both. Complimentary cornbread comes with the meals. The only downside was that thefeatured cocktail cost as much as the plates and was very weak, we didn't even finish the cocktail unfortunately. Highlyrecommend, if I ever visit Charleston again this will be the first place I return to and recommend. Read more

One of the top 3 restaurants my girlfriend and I have been to and our favorite in Charleston. The food was spectacular and our... service was impeccable! We felt well taken care of during our experience at the restaurant, from the bar tender, hostess, watergirls, server, and waiter. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs/wants a fancy night out in Charleston. There is acornbread and French bread starter (free). It was better than most bread! Second, we ordered the charcuterie board and that wasdelightful. It had fun spreads and great tasting meat, including a liver spread (was good!$. I had the scallops and CharlestonGold Rice? it was OUTSTANDING!! The rice melted in my mouth. The scallops were crispy on the outside and buttery soft in themiddle. My girlfriend had the grilled swordfish and she loved it so much she said it was the single best dish on our wholetrip. For sides we had grits (okay), collards green (too vinegary for me), and crispy Brussels (very good!!). Read more
