Thanks to Red Orchids, we have found our favorite Asian food restaurant in the Charleston area. We drive 30 minutes to dine here... at least twice a month or more. We are always welcomed warmly and the service is excellent. Don?t let the strip mall scene foolyou?inside it?s upscale casual. Our favorite dishes are the Korean Steak, General Chicken, and the chicken fried rice. Yum! Thefood is consistently good every single time. Don?t miss out on their wonderful hot mustard condiment. Usually this place gets 5 stars but tonight 1. Shrimp fry rice mushy was like grits and the shrimp tasted like boil cocktail... shrimp. So disappointed. Update call the restaurant and inform the manager of quality of food. Told her I didn't want a refundor another order. She insisted on making it up so I agreed to another order in the far future. This looks like an American - Chinese restaurant. But after we tried some dishes here we found that they served authentic... Chinese food ???? if you don't like American -Chinese food, you should try this place. The space inside is limited and the speedis a little bit slow after ordering. Maybe because we went there for dinner and there were so many orders at that time. Anyways,this is a good Chinese restaurant. Read more
The plaza/store front may make it seem like it's like every other Chinese dive, but that would bea bad assumption. I'd put it in... the same space as The Dragon Palace on Daniel Island. Nice sit down space with excellent wait staff. Friendly management also.Cheaper than PF Chang's and of course more authentic. Read more
