They have a fantastic beer selection! As well as, seltzers and other options for non-beer drinkers. The venue was huge (indoor... and outdoor seating). What a fun brewery! Arrived when there was a private event in the main room but was able to snag a corner in the smaller side... bar area. Delicious IPAs with just a very large selection of great beers. Once the main room opened, there was live musicplaying. They also allow dogs which of course makes any place even better!! Palmetto Brewing Company has the distinct honor of being the first brewery in the city and they have set the bar pretty high!... Their seating space indoors (main bar and their "speakeasy") and outdoors (a courtyard with benches and games) are fantastic andoffer quick and efficient service no matter where you are. Their bar tenders are upbeat and outgoing, plus meeting a Masstransplant while I was on vacation was a bonus and made me feel like home was closer than I realized. Their selection of brewsand cider is awesome so there is something for everyone. I was really pleased by their various merchandise and the prices, whichare very reasonable. There is also a cute hidden bird from Airtight Artwork, which is one of my favorite upcycle artists nestedon the merch wall. When visiting Charleston again I would definitely come back here and highly recommend this place to all whoenjoy a cold, refreshing drink! Read more
Please come to Palmetto Brewing Co.! They have a nice outdoor space that is dog-friendly and huge indoor space that holds... events. There are various drinks on tap that they make in-house- not just beer. The best part of my experience was the GobbleGobble food truck parked in the front which will deliver the food to your table. Near the top of my fave breweries in SC. They have one of my faves, Ghost Rider; unfortunately, it's seasonal and wasn't... available today (can't wait for September just for this beer). Cool, quaint brewery. Nice selection of drafts. Had to do a fewflights because they have so many good choices. They had a food truck on premises, but I couldn't allow food to interfere withmy beer.???? Highly recommend this brewery! There aren't alot of craft brews in Charleston. Stopped in to try it and we're we glad we did. They have tons on tap, live... music, and a food truck whipping up some good eats. While we were there, there was some live music. They did a great job o keepthe vibe up and the drinks flowing! This is worth a stop if your in Charleston! Read more
The event was a Celevration of life for a true veteran and friend. The setting was perfect for he loved breweries. The folks... running it were fantastic. The parking are needs some help but they were more then accomidating. Read more
