The Osaka of old was better, but after 2020, what wasn't? They still serve very fresh sushi, amazing rolls, oriental spirits and... have a diverse menu. Without driving downtown, this is easily the sushi shop my wife and I frequent most. Very clean, very freshand usually not too long a wait. 9/10 would recommend! Read more

Phenomenal! The small soup is a sizable portion. The light curry brought comfort to my soul. The Tom Kai is so refreshing. The... Charleston roll is drizzled in a yummy sauce and a hit with my husband, who doesn?t like fish. The beef and broccoli is the bestwe?ve ever had, so tender and such depth of flavor. The pad Thai is light - squeeze the lime over the dish for brighter taste.The banana spring roll?to die for! It?s a mix of warm and cold, crunch and melt-in-your-mouth. Holy Green Tea Cheesecake! Best Osaka experience I've ever had. Clean and quiet dining room. Our server was prompt, friendly,... and attentive. The soup and salad were delicious. Entrees were great. We had General Tsos, chicken lo mein and a couple of tunarolls (all awesome although the lo mein could use a touch more seasoning) and then the green tea cheesecake. We noticed you canget saki flights here, that sounds fun. Maybe next time. Also, I would come back and just have 3 orders of the cheesecake. Wondeful. Read more

Hands down BEST SUSHI EVER!!!! (And that's saying a lot being a Californian and a lover of sushi) It was out of this world!! The... white fatty tuna was so fresh it literally melted in my mouth! The yellowtail was infused with lemon and it was superb!!! Thesquid my husband had was so beautiful and carefully seared on top! The tuna was so yummy and the rolls where daring anddifferent and so delicious! Only down side is that there is not all you can eat! This sushi experience beat the last and I'mdefinitely telling everyone about this place! Next time I'm in Charleston I'll be here! Read more

Been coming here since 2004 and through the years this place has upheld high quality food, friendly and attentive staff, fair... prices, and an all around good vibe despite the changes made. The light curry soup is amazing, we get it with chicken since myhusband has a food allergy, but the shrimp version is awesome too! My favorite sushi place in all of Charleston and just an allaround great place whether you're a visitor or a native. Read more
