I just loved this place! Authentic & down to earth, not cookie-cutter! It?s intimate with a generous menu, straightforward,... TASTY & filling food at a great price, & not least of all, the staff went above & beyond to accommodate. The coffee wasdelicious (half-n-half & sugar!), perfect wheat toast with yummy sausage, & eggs made by a pro, & served on a diner-Chinaplate?I felt I stumbled into a wonderful secret place in broad daylight with hundreds of people & multiple choices on the streettwo steps below? The other patrons were a professional-looking couple and another woman who appeared professional based on herattire, & then a young couple with baby came in? Made a group order for a work lunch and ordered from grub hub. We ordered 6 sandwiches with notes on one sandwich to exclude... some items from the sandwich, we only received 5 sandwiches and the sandwich that had notes to exclude blue cheese and tomatowas ignored but they added a hair to it. When we contacted the deli they didn't even make the missing sandwich but we could comepick it up (defeats the purpose of using grub hub) then they asked where we were located and when I told them they said it wastoo far to deliver a sandwich to us but since grub hub was refunding us for the sandwich we should be all good. Little deli on market street, great location, small, cramped eat in area. My friend and I stopped in for lunch on Monday. First... off, This was our first time in so we were trying to look at the menu, flipping over to see both sides. The guy at the registersaid everything is the same, so you don't have to flip the menu. We asked about the make your own salad, he didn't know what achef salad was. He had to ask someone what was included in a chef salad. I ordered a salad, my friend ordered a BLT. We bothsaid the orders was to eat in. Both orders took awhile, over 12 minutes. Both of our lunches came out on paper plates. Yes, theyserved a chef salad on a paper plate! The bacon on the BLT was lacking, there was like 3 slices on it. The bread was barelytoasted. The salad looked good, real shredded mozzarella and cheddar; real slices of ham and turkey. but that was the only thinggood about it. I got honey mustard dressing, even with the dressing, the salad was tasteless. The price of the salad was $8.99,with a fountain drink, and 15% tip, my bill was $13.96, definitely not worth it. Cashier was a little rude (maybe because they were busy), the place is so cramped that you can barely move around. Also, the... smoke from the kitchen fills up the place so much that is hard to breathe. The burgers were good though. $26 for 2cheeseburgers. I recommend getting the burgers to go and sitting outside somewhere. Read more

We stopped in here from being outside in the heat. The salad that I got was not only good and refreshing, but the balsamic... vinaigrette was sooo tasty on it. My husband had the chicken pesto wrap with chips. The food was good and the homemade lemonadeas well. The staff were good too. Read more
