We had lunch reservations on a Friday afternoon around 1:00 for six people. Good thing too because they were pretty busy.... Parking is limited, and we ended up on a residential street a few blocks away. Little Jack?s is not a large restaurant, sotavern is an apt description. It has a very quaint décor. Our waitress arrived promptly and offered very good service for ourmeal. The menu is limited so you might want to check it out online ahead of time. We shared the brussels sprouts appetizer withthe whole table. They were over-cooked and too charred for my taste. My spouse and I split the shrimp burger and fries. It is asmashed burger not fried, and it was very tasty. We were both pleasantly full. Several at our table had the hamburgers whichthey all enjoyed. We had several different cocktails and beer. All in all, a good experience. Read more

Easily the best burger (so far) in Charleston, possibly/probably ever! This burger puts many other burgers to shame! A... coworker introduced me to Little Jacks a few years ago and we have since been up and down the coast trying to find something onpar with what is consistently served here! Great vibe with something for everyone; wife adds their crab cake to a salad-not myfirst choice, because it?s 100% burger time at Little Jacks!! Read more

First time here and it did NOT disappoint. The tavern burger made it easy to understand why this is the best burger place in... town. All of the staff was super nice. This place is perfectly simple. Read more

Really enjoyed little jack tavern, the fries were great and seasoned well. The sauce it came with was tasty, our drinks came up... quick. It is a smaller place so I would encourage reservations, and my only knock was I wish I would have ordered the doublecheeseburger instead of the single patty! Read more

Overall, the space is cute and trendy. Staff were very nice. I appreciate the small menu. However, the prices were on the higher... side for small portions. $16 for a pretty small sized burger that didn?t really have anything special going on. I probablywouldn?t be in a rush to return. Read more

We went to Little Jack?s Tavern for a date night while out of town. There was a $50 hold charge for a reservation on a Thursday... night, which was a little odd to me, but we did have to make the reservations in advance to get in, and we?ve heard that LittleJack?s Tavern is hard to get into at times. We ordered two drinks, a Brown Derby and a Bee?s Knees. Both tasted great and wewould recommend them. For appetizers, we ordered the Crab cake and the Shrimp cocktail. The crab cake was amazing, and thetavern sauce that it came with was tasty, like a mayo ketchup aioli. The shrimp in the Shrimp Cocktail were big and the cocktailsauce was mild but robust in flavor. I?d definitely recommend. For mains, we ordered the Surf and Turf, and the Tavern burger. The Surf and Turf came with a Tavern burger and a Shrimp burger, which I?ve never had before, but would highly recommend tothose that enjoy shrimp. It was delicious. The fries on the side were a garlic and herb fry with more herbs than garlic, butwere crispy and served with the tavern sauce to dip in. The tavern burger was served in the same sesame seed bun as the shrimpburger, which was nice and soft with lots of sesame seeds. The tavern sauce on the burger is quite enjoyable. I would agree withothers that the burgers are quite small, but they are quite tasty. You should be the judge of whether they are worth it or not;I thought they were. Our total came out to $140, with the tip. Overall, I would recommend Little Jack?s Tavern to those lookingfor an upscale casual place to dine in the Charleston area. Read more

If you're in search of a place you can make a reservation for 7pm and be sat down, with an amazing brussel sprout appetizer and... hand crafted cocktails by 7:05, little Jack's tavern is the place for you! Recommended by a colleague of mine that the bestBurger in SC exists here and the bathroom propaganda and my taste buds confirmed this notion. Ordered the surf and turf mealwhich is any Americans dream. 2 burgers, one shrimp and one traditional tavern Burger that comes with a sauce that is notdescribed any further than tavern sauce, but was creamy and declious! This establishment is so confident in their Burger makingcapabilities that they don't even ask you how you would like your Burger cooked, they just bring out in their little Jack'sfashion and live up to the expectations. Anyone looking for good atmosphere, great burgers, and incredible garlic fries, step onin to little Jack's. Keep on living up to this Burger hype and they may need to change their name to big Jack's!
