Very cute eclectic little restaurant with an interesting menu and nice bar service. Butternut squash casserole was delicious.... Cheese melted on top and bits of sausage running throughout. Large enough for 2 to share as an appetizer. Cornbread frittersalso very good. Tomato pie, a side but we did as an appetizer, was really good. Pie crust bottom with tomato etc on top. Can?tsay the flavor blew me away but it was subtle and delicious. Steak was also tasty. Would definitely go back again. Read more

We traveled all the way from Wisconsin to eat at a Vivian Howard restaurant and Lenoir didn?t disappoint! As Vivian said on The... Life of a Chef, southern fried catfish is the best and at Lenoir, it really was! It was also a great experience to try the porkchop with muscadine jam. I assure you, no one in Wisconsin has ever heard of this mystical fruit, but my husband and I bothloved it! Our server, Fawn, was so attentive and kind, especially when they just ran out of the tomato pie, which was somethingwe really wanted to try. I told Fawn that our dinner, which was cooked by Corry, did not fall short of our expectations! BravoCorry and Fawn! Fawn, thank you for the signed menu. It will be displayed in my kitchen next to my Vivian Howard cookbooks.Vivian, you should be proud. Can?t wait to visit Farmer and the Chef when renovations are finally complete. Read more

Huge island shaped bar with an innovative cocktail list. This restaurant has some to the best vegetable dishes you have ever... had, but don't stop there, the huge Pork Steak/Chop and fish dishes will have coming back again. Read more

This place is truly amazing! One of a kind eating experience and so much fun. They had seasonal dishes that were creative and... very well done. The service was incredible, attentive to our allergies. As a gluten free person, many dishes were easy to order.Can't wait to come back! Read more

Looooved our dinner at Lenoir this past June. We made a reservation, but ended up eating at the bar? Michael was incredibly... helpful, attentive and had great suggestions? Food was fantastic as were the cocktails! The Greens & Grits were outstanding aswere the Mess of Greens? the scallops and Shrimp toast were also excellent. Highly recommend. Read more

The food here was very good. Service was a bit slow but may have been related to the fact that we were sitting outside on the... porch. Mosquitos were a problem even with fans going. We ordered a couple of apps as well as entrees and the appetizers weregood but our flounder was slightly over cooked. Would return for dinner again to give it another try, but would for sure sitindoors. Read more

All the food was fantastic and so were the cocktails. From the starters the Grits and Greens were particularly delicious.... There's nothing we didn't enjoy, both the Pork Chop and the NY strip were cooked to perfection and to top it up, the Pannacotafor dessert was so refreshing. Too a week to get a reservation and I highly suggest you go during the week. Weekends the bar area is packed and dinning is full... until about 9 pm! If you know Vivian, she is all about seasonal produce and the menu changes often. The decor is light andcomfortable as well as very inviting. We began at the bar while waiting for our table and the house drinks are fantastic. Ourdinner began with 2 appetizers, a Strawberry dish, akin to a salad and trout toast with shrimp paste! Tonight?s dinner comprisedof steak served with incredible mushrooms and a Catfish dinner. Sounds simple but far from it!!! The flavor were full, proteinscooked perfectly and trust your server for recommendations! Desert was probably the best in house Carrot Cake I?ve had in along time! Enjoy! Read more
