Stopped here after getting off our cruise ship, great place to hangout before heading to the airport. Coffee is good, outdoor... patio was nice and so was the seating inside. I also had the homemade pie (I can't remember the exact name but it was like aturnover) and it was excellent. Had the apple jack pie, I would definitely recommend trying one and ask them to warm it up. Read more

A little disappointed. Menu looks great and this is not a full restaurant so you know you are getting precooked items that are... being reheated. I ordered the fried chicken biscuit with pimento cheese. In theory, delicious. The biscuit was pretty good andthe pimento cheese melty and yummy but unfortunately the chicken was cold. When you bite in to it and get cold chicken it ruinsit. Completely understand this is reheated but when you taste it cold your first thought is raw. I ate the biscuit and some ofthe cheese and when leaving I told them the chicken was cold and his answer was next time tell us and we will reheat it.Doesn’t really work for me. Still giving a 3 and not lower because I think if they had heated this properly it would havebeen great. We also had the bec biscuit which was good. Read more

With such a reputation in the cooking world from PBS shows and reviews, I was expecting a bit more than just a quick hotel... lobby breakfast pick up place, a bit cold atmosphere all served in plastic and styrofoam…. Food was not bad not great made thewalk to it from hotel, once was more than enough for me. Read more

Great Biscuit, OK Pie Located in a section of a larger, modern building, there isn’t a lot of atmosphere to the place. But... it relatively efficient and the staff member was quite helpful. The biscuit sandwich was excellent. The filled pie lessso—too much dried pastry. In any case, this is a very good place to get a light and quick lunch while walking aroundCharleston. Read more

Holy buckets were these biscuits good! The ham with apple sauce was spectacular. And the egg with pimento cheese! Yummy. Not... flavors I would have put together... and I admit to some skepticism. We will be back during our week in Charleston. Read more

This is a small coffee shop located inside / right next to the Renaissance hotel. Good and friendly service. Solid coffee... choices. The main reason I am reducing the star rating is because the portion is so tiny, that I didn't feel anything aftereating it... The price / quantity ratio is very high. Given there are so many other solid choices around town, I wouldn'trecommend you going out of your way to try this. If you are very close by or staying in the hotel, then it makes sense due toproximity. Read more

The breakfast sandwiches were really good! The pimento and egg was great, as well as the country ham sando. The vanilla bean... lemonade was not very vanilla-y though it had the little bean seeds. Easy little spot and cute interior. Read more
