Customer service and cleanliness we're good but $15 for a spider roll with no spider?! How dreadful!!

The last two times I've ordered from this place I have been sorely disappointed. Last time I was told nobody was able to deliver... my order and I needed to pick it up myself, but when I came in to pick it up a delivery driver was right behind me to pick itup. I demanded a refund on my delivery fee because they didn't offer it. This second time I placed my order at 11:30 and it wascanceled an hour later for no reason. From what I could see on door dash there was someone waiting to pick it up when it wascanceled, so it wasn't due to not having a delivery driver. I loved this place when it first opened, now all I see it as is anoverpriced hibachi shop. I won't be ordering from this place again. I gave it the benefit of the doubt last time but this is thelast straw. There are other, cheaper, better tasting, and more reliable places to order from. Read more

This place is so underrated. Don?t let the location to deter you. It?s decorated very tastefully and I am continually blown away... by their customer service, speed of preparation, accuracy, and amazing food quality!! You can?t beat the price of their sushirolls either (I highly recommend the dynamite roll and Boston roll). Also, I?ve gotten delivery from them many times and it?sbeen wonderful. The food was decent but order was wrong. I ordered 3 sushi rolls, a seaweed salad & chicken fried rice for carry out. Instead of... a seaweed salad I got a bowl with iceberg lettuce topped with avocado (house salad maybe?). Instead of the chicken fried rice Ireceived a teriyaki chicken bowl. It all tasted good but nothing seemed to stand out as above average. I was disappointed inthe Angry Dragon Roll I received - it has mango in it but the mango in the roll was so under ripe you couldn?t even tell what itwas - (it was white & very hard). I ordered this on a Wednesday night and it was dead inside when I picked it up so not sure whyall these mistakes were made. Strip mall Japanese restraunt with glowing reviews by leaving patrons. That's always a good start. Starting with a sushi roll... and hibachi steak and shrimp. 40$ with tip. I chose an off the menu roll called the Nemo roll. Interesting that it is a Japaneserun by Chinese. It's so amazing to me how much more expensive good Asian food is in the states compared to Asia. Over all a verynicely Asian flavored meal. I could taste a bit of msg but I didn't request no msg so no foul. A nice selection of veggies inthe hibachi and a well made sushi roll. No complaints on the food preparation and the counter person spoke very good English.Overall a pleasant experience. Read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star..so bad I cannot eat. Ordered the General Tos Chicken Bowl....make with frozen chicken... nuggets! Not fit for a dog. Worst take out food I have had in over 30 years. Read more

I have only ever gotten delivery. I've ordered many times, but I was hooked since the first order. The food is always hot n... fresh, I live about 3 miles away and it gets here in 30 or less. I always get black widow roll and chicken hibachi. There isalways enough chicken n rice n veg to have a second meal the next day. The food always microwaves well. I have never been evenslightly disappointed with the food or delivery times. I highly recommend Ginza if you live in West Ashley and want outstandingdelivery. Otherwise, I would definitely go dine in there as well. Read more
