Reviews for Élevé Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge in Charleston, SC
I LOVE this place! I?m always happy for a rooftop experience and the design of the entire place was beautiful! My friends and I... sat outside and relaxed while we continued our bachelorette celebration. Our server was absolutely fantastic and I wish I couldremember her name. She was so kind and helpful the entire time and we all really appreciated her! The food was BOMB, came out ina timely manner and the whole experience was just flawless. Thank you so much! We hope to visit again soon! Read more
The restaurant was very nice. Overall, the food was good, but not outstanding. 6 people went. Started with drinks- they were... very good. See photos for descriptions. We ordered 3 appetizers. The calamari was tasty. VERY thick batter and fried hard. TheBurrata and tomato salad was good. The flatbread was ok. Most of us ordered Salmon for dinner. Some were cooked a little moreor a little less, so we switched with each other for the rareness we wanted. It was just ok. The service was very good and theview and atmosphere were excellent. We hit up the rooftop for dessert and drinks after dinner and it was spectacular. We got there early enough to get prime seating... before the rush hit and had a very relaxed and fun time. We caught the spectacular sunset and enjoyed tasty drinks and desserts. The service was fast and friendly, and the overall vibe of the place was very chill and fun. Read more
Came here to check out their rooftop/bar Saturday night?the place was so dead!! It was only about 10:30pm and barely anyone was... still there. The inside bar is nice but outside rooftop wasn?t anything nice or special?so disappointed. At the bar inside, the bartenders were super friendly and no issues with getting our cocktails. We were told that King Street area was the moreenergetic fun vibe to hang out, so we left after 1 drink. Read more
I took myself out to dinner here when my husband took the kids out camping in NC. I wanted to read while having my dinner. So,... the staff gave me the closed off meeting room next to the dining room (which was full). I got to have the whole meeting room tomyself while enjoying a nice dinner, wine, and reading. They even thoughtfully turned the music off for me so I could read. Excellent dinner, wine, and ambience. Thank you! (We also stayed at The Grand Bohemian downstairs for an anniversary a fewyears back, and it was wonderful as well. Definitely in my top 5 places to stay in Charleston.) Read more
Fantastic Atmosphere - The rooftop is so cute! The food and drinks were wonderful: super yummy - The staff was SO friendly and... helpful. The food service was a little slow, but the team was very communicative about being understaffed in the kitchen soproper expectations were set at the time we were seated. Read more

Underwhelming. Unimpressed. We had a gift card to use - if we had paid out of pocket for this meal, we would have been fairly... upset. We ordered the truffle frite for a starter, this was the highlight of the meal. Definitely plenty for 2-3 adults toshare. The shoestring fries had a good mix of soft fries and crunchy fries, so no matter your preference you'll enjoy it. Thesauce is delicious as well. Then between the appetizer and the entree we waited about 20-30 minutes. We had ordered the elevéburger and the smoked salmon bagel. The burger was hot, the bagel was not only burned, but stone-cold despite being toasted. Thestingy schmear was also a bummer. There was a large group seated at the same time so it is possible that it affected the abilityof the kitchen to coordinate plating our meal. The portion sizes were otherwise good for the price. Children's menu is whatyou'd get at any budget dine-in restaurant - almost certainly Kraft Mac N Cheese, burgers and nuggets pulled from the back ofthe freezer. If you're serving the brunch menu, why not offer kids plates of what's already on offer? Waffles, pancakes, bagel, toast? The food wasn't terrible and the wait staff was doing their best, it was probably just an off-day, or bad luck on ourpart. I'd be willing to give it another chance, but with so many great options in Charleston, we aren't likely to go backwithout a compelling reason. Read more
