First time visiting East Bay Deli. The atmosphere and employees were awesome. Food was delicious despite the fact that my gyro... was a little too spicy for my taste buds. Busy for lunch but the line went fairly quick. Order ahead online if you wanna skip the wait. The menu all looks great. We had... the French Dip sandwich and a cup of Mushroom Brie Soup of the day. If i am being honest, the staff were kind of complete jerks. We came in after the aquarium one afternoon and we were looking to... just grab a quick bite. Every question looked like we were bothering them. Food was decent but we would not go back because theyreally just were not very nice. Not sure why, everyone else here says it was wonderful, but that was not what we got from it. Read more

Service is very slow. We called are order ahead still waited 30 mins after arrived. Employees are rude and they goofed around... the whole time as I watched for my son to grab our order. Disappointed to say the least Read more

Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere! Definitely a must go...our favorite so far! Charleston Chicken was delish!

Had the "Authentic Gyro" but found the meat overcooked (and dry) in some areas. The pita bread was also overly tosted and a... little bit hard. Wife had cheese cake and could've been a little colder to enjoy it. Flavors were overall good. Read more

I've had this deli before and the sandwich today definitely didn't disappoint! Nice, fresh meat and easy to order with a big... variety of sandwiches to choose from. Only ranked it 4 stars because my husband and I only ordered 2 simple sandwiches, planningon a quick meal just before our tour of Fort Sumter, and it took about 15 mins to get the sandwiches...not bad but felt longerthan it should have.
