I had a gift card valued at $45 / 25 oysters and I presented it asking what kind of oysters that included. I was told that I can... get a dozen and a half raw oysters for it. Well, I got 14 oysters instead. Very disappointing. Way too overpriced in my opinion.Who would pay $45 for 14 oysters? Read more

What a fantastic place! The array of premade sauces, condiments and toppings is amazing and all displayed beautifully. The fish... counter is clean, open and beautiful. I ordered monkfish fillet, which was absolutely gorgeous. Can a fish filet be sexy? Ithink it can. I also ordered tuna crudo which was served with watermelon radish, roe and jalapenos. I can't emphasize howunderstated but perfect it was. I also got scallop ceviche, pictured here. It was STUNNING, and delicious doesn't begin to coverthe flavor. And while it was almost too beautiful to eat, I ate it with the quickness. The oysters were delicious and I lovedgetting to chat with everyone as they shucked them for me. All in all, I couldn't be happier. Excellent market, spectacularrestaurant and absolutely stellar service! You guys are super stars! Read more

Awesome spot. Poke bowl and fish sandwich are my favorite eat in items. Food portions are on the smaller side, so get a couple... things if you are starving. Fish collars to take home are awesome. Read more

Freshly caught, cut and served tuna crudo for an appetizer, and shrimp sticky rice bowl entree. Nice vegetable garnishes,... service by enthusiastic staff, in an impeccably clean environment with some mellow reggae on the sound system all creates apleasant spot to eat.. Also there's a fish market, and I got a piece of swordfish and some smoked fish dip to go. Edited to addthat recently there's a 3.5% surcharge for using a credit card, which I think I had encountered before, stopped coming thenforgot about. That definitely influences my decision on whether or not to stop in the next time I'm passing by. I don't like tobe paying for what should be a business expense and don't normally carry so much cash to pay that way. Read more

Great experience at this unique spot. Workers were extremely helpful and patient enough to explain all of what they provide.... Also, they are quite knowledgeable as far as the origin and varieties of the ingredients. The coconut sticky rice bowl is apleasant updated twist on a classic. Mixture of temperatures, textures, and flavours were great! Dine-in, takeout, get freshingredients to take home to cook yourself, or call them to cater! I was quite impressed by my experience here. Bonus: Theyaccommodated my allergy with ease! Read more

This is exactly what you expect to find in terms of fresh seafood when you live near beach town/water front location. (I love... that it was super clean and you can see it and smell). The food was ridiculously fresh and done with care! It wasdelicious! PO Boy and Sandy fish were perfect! The sticky bowl is raw (tuna) and that was great balance. Perfect portion. Read more

We wanted to love this great addition to James Island but here is why we didn't ...we went at 3pm on a Saturday (today) so not... super busy. We walk up and the young lady running the counter seemed irritated at us for no reason. We get it, some days at workare a drag..... Anyway ..we were dining in and I was SUPER excited to have a fresh local softshell crab sandwich. My FoodieFacebook page was talking up your sandwich so that's why we were there to begin with. We bought some pickled jalapenos andRadishes, slaw and one beer, smoked salmon dip and Ritz crackers for $91 bucks(including 15%gratuity for miss grumpy pants) We sitdown and consume all the salmon dip which was good salty and smokey, the jalapenos were good but too sweet and the beer. FinallyShe brings out our sandwiches.... which look beautiful..... But are COLD. I'm like???? Whaaaaaa The table of four behind me getstheir sandwiches at the same time even though we say 10 minutes prior to their order. So I wanted to let the other person thereknow but they didn't come back up front as he was loading fresh fish(which all looked and smelled fresh and delicious) outside. Read more

Searched all around Charleston, Whole Foods, Harris teeter and even another local fish market and couldn?t find anywhere they... felt comfortable telling me their fish was sushi or sashimi grade and okay to eat raw. Read a few reviews on google and figuredid drive over to Cuda Co and couldn?t be happier. The salmon they sold me and even spent a little time educating me about wasexcellent cut and served up with a little soy sauce. You can literally see the ribbons of fat running all throughout the meat. This has become my spot for sushi to keep in the fridge and way better than pre packaged store bought sushi. Also their oysterselection is fairly large and really delicious. Want too big of a fan of the house oysters but the ones brought in from otherareas were excellent although a little pricey at $2.25 a piece for something you have to shuck yourself at home. Overall I wouldrecommend this place to anyone and can?t wait to try out their menu items for a bite to eat there one day. Read more
