I?ll start with the sandwiches are good. Not mind blowing but very good, bread and ingredients are fresh and tasty. But in... order to get said sandwich you must endure some less than welcoming service and wait in what is possibly the hottest room inCharleston for about 30 minutes. I really wanted to like this spot and had lots of friends recommend it, but my experience wasso poor that it would be hard for me to recommend it to anyone. Read more

The menu looked pretty good here and I work in walking distance so I figured I would check it out. The staff member who took... our order was a bit terse in his communication. Not typical of Charleston. No smiles or anything. That was probably becausethe temperature was pretty hot in there and it was crowded with people waiting for food by the time we left. We luckily gotthere with just 3 or so people ahead of us. Not that lucky though because it took about 30 minutes to get the food so servicewas a bit slow. I figured it was going to be worth the wait since so many people were there, but the food was just ok byCharleston standards. Our food here is so good. This food was just passable. Passable food isn't good enough for the price. Then when you factor in the uncomfortable waiting area and the long wait times it really isn't a great experience to comehere. I'll stick with brown dog deli or east bay deli for downtown sandwich spots. Read more

One star for location but I will not be going back. The service was poor/rude. The cashier acted like we were wasting his time... by buying lunch there. He did not say hello or welcome or anything, just frowned at us. Food was bland/mediocre. The paninis wegot had little flavor to them and for $15/sandwich, you expect more. Charleston has much better options than this. Read more

Every sandwich is absolutely delicious? hand made and with fresh and local ingredients. The owner works every day they?re open... to ensure every sandwich is the highest quality. I personally recommend the Sprouted turkey, the breakfast burrito or theItalian Stallion. Awesome little patio to enjoy your meal with lots of fans and greenery! A lot of reviews complaining about theprices but I paid $12.xx for a panini and thought that price was very reasonable! Read more

The food here is legit! Lived here for 3 years and finally able to eat here and I cannot believe I didn't try it sooner! Dont... make my mistake go early and often. I don't know who jack is but he must be a really good guy to have a special sandwich namedafter him. Read more

Not a bad experience but not one I'm eager to repeat. Ordered a Cuban sandwich and cold brew, both of which I'd describe as... "fine". Cold brew was half ice and the Cuban had way too much mayo, but neither one was bad. Thing is it cost me $16. There areplaces within easy walking distance where you can get either one of those better and for a bit less money. Staff is friendly andservice is quick, just don't expect a bargain or anything to write home about. Oh, also they cut the Cuban sandwich lengthwise, which I've genuinely spent hours thinking about and can't think of a good explanation for. Read more

This is THE PLACE TO GO FOR SANDWICHES DOWNTOWN. The sandwiches are huge and appropriately priced for what you are getting. All... the ingredients are fresh and brought in daily. The young lady who makes sandwiches there, berenise, makes the best sandwichesaround. If you're downtown this is a must!!! This is just half of a sandwich Read more
