There's a parking lot nearby but what a cool place! We made a last minute reservation for lunch for 10 people and it was great.... Food was delicious and service was great. We ordered the Southern Pimento Cheese and Pumpkin Bisque to start. The Pimentocheese was delicious. Pumpkin bisque was good but smokier than anticipated and not too much pumpkin. We ordered a coupledrinks. I would definitely recommend Palmetto punch for drinks, it was very refreshing. For lunch, I got the CU Burger and theJapanese Fried Chicken Rice Bowl. I definitely recommend the bowl. The burger was good but definitely think the bowl was moreflavorful and absolutely delicious. Recommend coming here! Read more

Lovely place. Came specifically for the Holy Sh!t meal. We couldn't finish but had fun trying. It was REALLY good. If you... specifically want to sit on the more grand side, be sure to ask or request that. I made our reservations through Open Table anddidn't realize there were 2 sides. So we were sat on the side that is not in the larger space. I didn't complain. They don'tmind if you pop over to see it though. Read more

Amazing experience. Thought it would be over hyped but it wasn’t. It really is as good as its reputation. The restaurant... interior is stunningly beautiful and the food was superb. Quantities were more than ample so you might want to be carefulordering. Tables were small so getting everything on the table was difficult. Enjoyed it immensely. Definitely recommend you toget a reservation as it is not easy to get in. Read more

If you're in Charleston I highly recommend going to Church and Union! First of the inside is a masterpiece of art and... absolutely beautiful. The entire book "The Art of War" is hand painted on the ceiling and throughout the restaurant. I'm avisual artist and I was really appreciate the time and effort it took to create the artwork. The services was outstanding andthe staff was excellent. Now on to the food which was very delicious. We had raw oysters for an appetizer and they wereperfect. Our main course dinners were excellent as well. This is a restaurant I would absolutely go to again and I personallythink it's a must see even if you just want to grab a drink at the bar. Oh I almost forgot to mention my wife and I went therefor our anniversary and the waitress gave us a dessert on the house which was also very good. Thank you for an all aroundperfect evening and wonderful anniversary dinner Church and Union. You and your team are top-notch and I can't speak highlyenough about how much my wife and I enjoyed our experience there. Next time we visit Charleston this restaurant is number oneon our list! Our server Jackie was fantastic! This is a must go to restaurant in Charleston. The cocktails, appetizers, and entrees all were... perfection. We loved our drinks and each bite of our food was so delectable and delicious. I savored every flavor. The chefknows what they are doing. On top of it all is the amazing beauty of the building. We loved seeing that they kept many of thebeautiful features of the church. Read more

What a beautiful and unique spot! Definitely takes your breath away once you enter the main dining room, just wow! Came here... for a late dinner on a Saturday night, the place was still lively and almost all tables were occupied. After a drink at the barwe moved to our table. Ordered from a restaurant week prix-fixe menu ($40) and pasta a la carte. The food came out pretty fast,it was just okay, the portions were definitely downsized. I didn't feel like I dined at a restaurant, it had more of a loungevibe that had some food options. We didn't get bread, salt/ pepper at a table, dishes were brought out before we finishedprevious course. Service was a little disappointing. I'd give it another try and come here for drinks next time I'm inCharleston, the ambiance is worth it! But food-wise I'd pick a different place. Read more
