We were looking for good Chinese while visiting Charleston. Found Chopsticks, but were a little cautious as all the reviews... were dated. Took one for the team... and were really happy. Typical storefront Chinese, but flavorful and portions weregenerous. Hot and sour soup as good as I've had. General Tso was spiced just right, but the fried rice side could have beena little more flavorful. The lo mein was excellent! Think the highlight was the ginger scallion chicken - but beware ifyou're not a ginger fan, as it has large slices of fresh ginger. I waited to make sure we didn't "rent the food" due to MSG;24 hours later and no issues! Biggest issue, and reason not 5 star... we had it delivered to the hotel where we staying, but they did not include any utensils, chopsticks, napkins, plates, sauces or similar items one would expect of atakeout/delivery only restaurant. Nonetheless, we would definitely order from them again if we're in the area. Read more
Ordered online, food came at a reasonable time. I think it was unprofessional for the delivery driver ask me how I paid my tip.... I told her I didn't, and glad I didn't. The rice wasn't cooked all the way. Hard and grainy. Chicken taste like cornstarch. This is why I drive to Pagoda in Summerville, best place to order Asian cuisine!!! Read more
I went their today and the young lady at the window/door was so disrespectful I didn?t order anything. I just don?t know how u... run a business and talk with respect to a new customer. And after I told her I didn?t like her attitude she could care less, sowasn?t trying to eat there ever. Read more

Best Chinese food I had in years. Cooked on the spot fresh ingredients and friendly staff.
I ordered General Tso chicken takeout. I got home and started eating and saw a shrimp in my meal. Shortly after that I got very... sick in the sink, I have a shrimp allergy. After I got better I called them and was told they would refund my money. Then thewoman asked for a picture of the shrimp. I told her it went down the sink with the rest of the food that came back up. Then shestarted saying ?it?s never going to happen? and ?you refuse to send a picture? and ?there was no shrimp?. Ultimately she hung upon me. $28 down the sink, literally. I will never eat here again. I even tipped them $3 when I picked it up. Hopefully mycredit card company will be able to help block the charge. Read more
