A true dining experience. Our compliments to the extremely talented chef and excellent service from Ashley. We dined!! We were... not rushed and had the pleasure of meeting the chef. Each and every bite was perfectly crafted with an abundance of flavor. Take a look at the presentation of each dish. Beets and squash and breads and butter and apples and ginger, lentils and pasta- and more. It was as delicious as it was pretty. We ordered every single item on the menu, excluding dessert. Took a lot ofwillpower to say no but we were so full!! We have been to many restaurants in many countries. This was unforgettable! Read more

Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Charleston in years. I never would have normally picked Chasing Sage, as I love to... eat fish and meat but my husband suggested we try it for my birthday. We opted for the chef’s tasting and it was phenomenal! The cauliflower cappuccino, the green garbanzos, goat cheese stuffed squash blossoms, peaches with labneh, english peadumplings, corn cavatelli, and butterscotch budino were our favorite things. I didn’t take many pictures because we were soeager to dig in. Read more

We just finished eating brunch here. It was very good! Ramen was absolutely amazing here: rich and complex tonkotsu broth, pork... belly cooked to perfection, and pickled vegetables on a side was a welcome addition. The pancake was good. The cocktails werevery good. I will definitely come back here to check out their dinner. Read more

Absolutely delicious. The staff was so kind and accommodating, and they treated my big table like family. The food is inventive... and incredibly delicious. Given the tapas-style small plates and abundance of vegetarian options, this is the kind of placewhere you can go, eat a ton, and then still feel good afterwards. I highly recommend it. Read more

We came here for dinner and it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. The selection is small, but... the ingredients are fresh. Dishes are small and can be shared - like tapas style. The drink options are also different but gooddifferent - not the same boring options as every other restaurant. Two things that could be improved: 1. Bring out each dishseparately (if 2 people and sharing dishes) and not 3 at a time. By the time we finished one dish, the other two were cold. 2.Bring out fresh plates and cutlery if you see there is some rubbish or sauce from the last dish on the remaining plates. Thetable next to us got fresh plates and cutlery each time, but we had to ask. All in all, the food is delicious and staff is warmand welcoming. I would come here again! Read more

This was our favorite meal in Charleston! The vibe was tranquil and classy without being pretentious. We ordered almost every... vegetarian option on the menu and were absolutely blown away by the unique, flavorful, and beautiful dishes. We started withcocktails (pear with me, boots with the furr), deep in flavor and aroma. Then had the Sourdough, which came with persimmon jam, butter and pickled vegetables. The sourdough came in it’s own tiny Dutch oven, and was baked to perfection. Then, beets over“cheesecake,” was a gorgeous and light plate, again so much flavor. We had Celery dumplings, delicate and tasty. And a whitebean and mushroom dish we could have sworn had bacon in it (but didn’t). The only thing I didn’t completely love was thesquash pate. For dessert we had pear fritters with ice cream and a poached pear, and chocolate cake, both deeply delicious. Read more

It's hard to find restaurants with the full package - great food, great cocktails, and great service. Chasing Sage is the full... package. We had most of the menu, cocktails and wine, and loved it all. Truly unique food heavily focused on interesting ways topresent vegetables. A must visit if you are in Charleston. Read more
