Hidden Gem! Not on the beach but on the water! Party of 4, 2 adults, 2 children. I had the shrimp salad, friend had the crab... sandwich, kids had chicken strips and Alfredo from the children's menu. My daughter said the Alfredo was better than mine ????.Everything was delicious. The menu has something for any seafood lover from crab pots to pasta dishes, salads, soup, appetizersand sandwiches. We had the most amazing lunch here today. Service, food, atmosphere, all excellent. We left this place so happy. It wasn't... until we dropped our daughter at C of C and drove home that my husband noticed on our receipt that we were charged a fee fornot paying cash. As we handed our card to the server, she didn't warn us. As fellow restaurant owners, we were blown away! Wewould never charge our customers a fee for paying with a card, and we are entering our 19th year in buisness. We had planned toreturn here the next time we visit our daughter, but I can assure you we will never dine here again! Great food and service, butthe owners are greedy and should be ashamed. Read more

They can be very busy at times. I called before going and was told at least 40min wait time which I was expecting since the time... I was going but got there and was seated right away, with no waiting.i sat outside and watched as boats speed by. Did take likefor my food to arrive. I got the seafood boil. I went kinda thinking it wasn't going to be that good, but I was mistaken. The Presentation didn't disappoint and it tasted good as well as just the right amount of food. We had a wonderful dinner experience here. The locals recommended it. Beautiful outdoor patio right on the water with plenty of... shade. Friendly service. Menu is seafood focused but has a few turf options of chicken fingers or a burger. Can't say enoughgood things about the steam pot - crabhouse crab pot, great to share with the table! Lucas was an awesome waiter. I got the Carolina platter and it was fantastic. Arrived early and go the best table. The grits are... so creamy. The crab cake was a generous size and the sauce was creamy with a little kick. Great location. Read more
First time here last night. Really great location right on the water we missed the sunset but will def go back next time for the... sunset. The drinks were pretty good and the food was okay but out server Dakota was really what made the experience! He was soon point, attentive friendly and had a great attitude! Wowza! We came to Charleston for a day to do Casual Crabbing with Tia (highly recommend also) and she suggested we try this... place. We brought some Blue Crabs we had just caught but also ordered ?The Crab House Crab Pot.? Both were incredible!! As anappetizer, we ordered She Crab Soup and the Crab Dip. I didn?t think about it, and that?s entirely my fault, but I couldn?t eatthe crab dip because I?m expecting. It was served cold and my doctor doesn?t want me eating any cold meats. The She Crab soup?.not my or my husbands cup of tea. Honestly, it tasted terrible. However, I think we just felt that way because we are from theMidwest and have never had anything close to it. I?m sure if you grow up on something with those particular flavors it?sdelicious. Our waitress asked what we thought of it and we kindly told her it wasn?t our favorite. She insisted to take it offthe bill but we told her not to. She did anyway, and I thought that was very kind. The blue crabs they cooked up for us we?reincredible and so was the Crab Pot.
