Being a flight attendant, and a vegetarian, makes looking for food a bit tricky, pricey, or just carbs/junk. Now while being on... a layover in Charleston, and after investigating several spots, I decided on trying my luck with this little place, and thisveggie burger did not disappoint at all. I would say, it?s one of the best I?ve ever had. Base Price is okay $14, ( addedtoppings cost extra), but I definitely recommend trying it once, as is, to appreciate its original assembly. And then when yougo back, you could go all in with extra toppings. Definitely recommend if your in the area! Read more

I made a split-second decision with a couple of friends to go here, and it was not a mistake. Absolutely spectacular burgers,... honestly the best I've ever had. Almost everything is made from scratch, and it really comes through in the flavors. From thesoft brioche buns to the freshly grounded meat, everything was perfect. If your looking for a great burger, look no further. Read more

After all the hype and good reviews I read I went in to give it a try. I was disappointed. It's a regular burger nothing... special. The chicken was okay the veggie burger was better but still not great. It's a hole in the wall bar with top notchprices meaning expensive. They didn't have any beer on tap. Had a punk rock kind of feel to it the freezer behind the bar washeld together with red tape. I also didn't like getting my water out of a igloo cooler. Read more

I've been to Big Gun a few times and it's always an exceptional experience. This time tho was above and beyond any expectation.... Wife and I went on vday as we were hopping around grabbing small plates from several locations. We shared the Thin White Dukeand The Brussels. OMG!!!! The food was a 10/10. This review honestly can't express the feelings about the food. Brussels camefirst, and we're fully expecting them to be amazing since we get them each time. Top 5 small plate or appetizer in the city, theflavor was immaculate. The burger was perfect, bun was soft and toasted, the fries was season perfectly with a blend of spicesyou typically don't taste on fries. Even the cream soda was top notch. Like I said this isn't our first time going to Big Gunand it's always really good but today was impeccable ???????????????????? Read more

Great little burger place! Kids were hungry and we just wanted out of the chaos of Charleston, so I randomly picked Big Gun.... This place is edgy with a little bit of glam, which I love. The bathroom is covered in graffiti.... super cool!! We were told itwould be a 45 minute wait for our food, but that was fine with us. Staff shortages are everywhere! It gave me a chance to walkthe shops nearby. And the food was definitely worth the wait! The menu is small, but I like that when dealing with the kids.Prices are a little high, but I'm guessing that's normal for Charleston. I had the vegan tacos. They were great! It was tacoseasoned cauliflower with a slaw. Hubby and kids all had burgers. They were big and cooked to perfection. The classic is justthat, an old school burger with onion and pickle... very good! The fries were crispy, just how the kids love. Thewaiter/bartender was very friendly and helpful. The adult beverages are plenty! Overall, good experience, a very relaxed vibeand great food!! Forgot to pick up my order at 1PM. Thank you for the staff remaking this for me. The guy was overwhelmed behind the bar. Kitchen... staff must be understaffed as well, Turkey burger and fries were awful. Hopeful it improves, it is cool concept. Ended uptossing it out to order from The Dewberry hotel instead. Read more

Big Gun has a unique vibe to it and the food is good! It's more of a bar dive, small but has personality. The staff are nice and... the decor is interesting. There is limited seating, Foosball and pool tables are in the back room. We had burgers, beer, friesand fried brussels - all of the food was amazing!! Especially the fried Brussels, this is a very special recipe and isdelicious! If you want a great burger, this is your spot. Read more
