Came here for the first time after my husband and parents raved about it. We all had a wonderful meal and enjoyed sitting on the... patio. Our waitress was attentive and not overbearing. She made some great recommendations for me because I was having troubledeciding - everything sounded so good! For apps we shared the calamari and spicy shrimp. Both were delicious and the calamariwas top 5 I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked! For my entree I had the chicken parm sammie and it was worth every calorie. Crispchicken and soft bread, to die for! Hubby had the cheesesteak, his 2nd from here in 3 weeks so you know it must be good! Dad hadthe Reuben - also his 2nd in 3 weeks and Mom had the Nicoise Salad. With both great food and drink options, this is definitely the spot for a casual dine in that provides exquisite southernquality. Food: I had ordered the Salmon Sandwich with chips along with a beer and ice cream. Everything was on point fromtemperature, seasoning, flavor, and texture. Took my grandmother, a born and bred NYer, here for her birthday lunch and she said that it was one of the best Reuben sandwich... she has ever had! (...And she is an 85 year old woman with very discerning taste.) Homemade chips and salmon dip were alsodelicious. The portions are quite large (we definitely had leftovers) and prices are very good. Service was absolutely spectacular from start to finish. We started off with the Meatballs which were perfectly cooked being... nice and crispy on the outside, juicy in the inside, and a delicious sauce. The pork belly small plate unfortunately was justunder seasoned leaving much to be desired. The beet salad was a bit disappointing as it was 99% greens and maybe 1 beet? Thenuts in the salad were extremely tasty though. The philly cheese steak was delicious and would be even better with the option toadd peppers. We stopped by here for some really good philly cheesesteaks, and we were not disappointed. Also tried out the chicken parmesan... sandwich, and the party melt, as well as the artichoke and kale gratin, and the "nicoise" salad - everything was good and thisplace did not miss a beat. Best philly I've had in a while - they got everything about it right. I think I'm going to have tocome back here a few times to try everything on the menu. Read more
