First experience here via delivery and it was disappointing. For one, they forgot an entire entree (salmon gyro). For two, the... ?crab dip? is only lump crab. We are going to use it to make our own dip, as it does taste very good. The ?mixed grilledplatter? was unappetizing. The gyro meat was cold and tough to pull apart and chew. The chicken and pineapple slice was good.The hummus and tzatziki tasted no better than grocery bought. They also forgot the extra tzatziki side we ordered. I wish I didn?t walk in to wait for my order. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and it was not shawarma but cut up chicken... breast into tiny pieces. We were really looking for an authentic arabic place on Daniel island and this was not it. The cupgiven to me was a SUBWAY cup. There were numerous fliers and gnats flying around, the showcase was in acceptable and there waswater leaking from them. The food did not look appetizing there. In addition, the young man helping me at the register had noidea what was on the sandwich when I asked. The table in the front was eating and left when i wakes in. The twenty minutes Iwaited for my order, no one cleaned up the table or picked up after them. I?m truly not sure how this place has great reviews.It just seems dirty, not clean and needs to be well taken care of. As an arabic person wanting arabic food on DI, this place wasjust not it. Just SOME of the wilted lettuce I pulled out of my salad. I gave up and decided not to eat it to avoid getting sick. It?s hard... to believe this goes unnoticed while making a salad. The Gyro Platter is amazing. It's made fresh and served hot. It's probably the best Gyro in the Charleston area.
