82 Queen is the perfect place to treat yourself to some delicious Southern food. Everything that we ordered was spotless with... great recommendations from our lovely waitress (with the unfortunate exception of the wine which was pretty awful). Be sure totry the bourbon pecan pie, so good!! All in all, a great dinner. Read more

Recently I had the pleasure of attending this fine dining establishment and I can tell you that the experience was exquisite.... I've been to numerous restaurants during restaurant week and the quality, service and ambience are usually lackluster but hereat 82 Queen that was not the case. The appearance of the restaurant itself was very reminiscent of that old Charleston charm. The wait staff were finely groomed and overall the appearance of the restaurant was very easy on the eyes. Walking up the stairsto our table with Old Charleston brick surrounding me, dark stained wooden floors beneath me and dim lighting upon me gave thewarm feeling of a prohibition era speakeasy. I must say that the food was equally impressive. The cuisine was nothing short ofmagnificent. From the freshness and flavor my taste buds were tingling. Nothing was out of place. 82 Queen has definitelyskyrocketed itself into my top five fine dining restaurants in Charleston. Read more

This place has great reviews so we came all the way here to try. It was pretty and had great atmosphere. We had crab soup,... jambalaya and crab cakes. The she crab soup was unbearably salty. We had to drink up all the water after we had one spoonful.Decided to send it back unfortunately. The rice in crab cakes was also so salty. Jambalaya was pretty good. Also got kids pasta- the pasta was good but chicken on top had so much salt on it as well. Maybe the chef recently got Covid? (No offense and I?mquite serious) The waitress and staff are very friendly. Read more

I always wanted to dine here but this was the first time I did and it was amazing. The decor and the original brick flooring was... so beautiful. The staff was so nice, friendly and helpful. When we got there we didn't have reservations so it was a little waitbut we did have the option of eating at the bar so we did and lucky it wasn't busy. So make reservations if you want to ensureyou have available seating. I normally use open table. The food was delicious. I will definitely go back. Great experience. Read more

Overall: A great option in the crowded downtown space. The good: Started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked and had... just the right amount of breading on it. It was also topped with bacon, tomato, banana pepper, and sweet glaze that all createda great balance of flavors and textures. The crab cakes were phenomenal - generous amounts of crab that weren't overcooked orloaded with other ingredients. They had a nice crispy exterior but were still easy to cut and soft on the inside. They also camepaired with a great succotash, seasoned rice, and tartar-esque remoulade. All aspects of the plate blended perfectly. Servicewas friendly, the menu is balanced, and the interior and exterior are charming and cozy. The not-so-good: Not much! One of thebest dining experiences we've had in Charleston thus far. We'll be back for sure! Food/drink: 10/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Service:10/10 Read more
